Jordan's POV:
"Hey! Sweetheart! Get the hell up. I've got work to do and I gotta clean. I don't need any people in here before the Crüe shows up." I awoke with an older man snapping his fingers.
                              "Where am I ?" I ask tiredly.
                              "The Whiskey hun."
                              "The what?"
The man looks at me with confusion."The Whiskey-A-Go-Go. Ya know the famous bar and concert hall."
"What the fuck..." I gasp. "I need my phone. Where's my phone?" I ask getting up.
"I'm assuming at your house attached to your wall?" The man answers.
"Ha ha. Very funny. I meant my cell phone." I roll my eyes.
"The fuck is a cell phone?"
I stop in my tracks. What the hell did he just ask me?
I feel myself get frustrated."You don't know what a cell phone is? Touch screen? Nothing?"
                              "I'm so lost right now."
                              Then it hit me....
"Wait, what year is it..?" I ask slowly turning around.
                              "1987...why?"
                              Holy shit...
"Oh my god...the bitch wasn't joking." I laugh.
"Okay. I need to clean." The man states throwing his hands in the air.
"Wait! I know this is going to sound very weird but I literally just traveled from the future."
"Okay yep. You're out." The man grabs my arm and pulls me to the door.
"Please sir! I just need a place to stay and work. I don't know where the fuck I am or how I got here. I'm very confused!" I start to panic.
I'm in Los Angeles California with nothing and is stuck in 1987.
"Yeah yeah yeah. Get lost." The man grunts before slamming the door in my face.
I begin to look around. Suddenly, my panic goes away. There's lights everywhere and people are laughing, drinking, kissing, smoking, having a good time. This was my paradise.
                              Holy shit Jordan...you've made it.
I begin walking. I don't know where I'm going but I'm going there. I hear some guys whistle at me. I just brush it off.
Okay Jord. People aren't going to believe you that you're from the future. You've watched hundreds of documentaries on how the sunset strip was. You know not to ask for a cell. You don't know how long you're going to be here so make the most of it.
I reach into my pocket and find a couple hundred bucks. The girl was somewhat generous I guess. I figure I'll have enough for a couple nights at this hotel.
"Hi. I'm here to check in please." I say to the lady behind the desk.
"Alright. Are you staying for one nights or two or more?"
                              "Uhh...four days."
                              "Alright. That will be $125."
I feel my mouth drop. That little for four nights? Sold.
"Thank you!" I smile. She hands me an actual key to my room.
"Oh yeah. You couldn't scan them back...now...?" I chuckle to myself. I walk to my room and open the door. It was very simple. Spacious. I liked it.
I grab a newspaper and instantly began looking for jobs. Of course...The Whiskey was hiring waitresses.
                              I could be a waitress.
A million thoughts race through my mind as I slowly fall asleep. I had a lot to do tomorrow and a lot to see.
