Jordan's POV:
Another day working at the infamous Whiskey A-Go-Go. It's like paradise/ heaven all mixed into one. I know it seems weird to idolize such an odd place that covered in alcohol and sex but I'm a rock n' roller. We like that shit. I put on my work shirt and I put on a tight skirt. I finally had lost all of my high school weight so why not show it off? I mean I am 21 and I literally don't have anything to lose. Knock on wood.
I walk through the doors that belonged to heaven on earth and see Sarah and Adrianna talking.
                              "Hey girls." I greet.
"Hey gorgeous. Ready for another hectic night?" Adrianna giggled. Now that I've talked to her way more, she's honestly the sweetest.
"I guess so. Yeah." I laugh nervously.
"Apparently Duff's band is supposed to play here tonight. I heard they're getting signed soon." Sarah raised her eyebrows.
                              "Who's that?" I ask.
"Duff McKagan. He works here too. He's a bassist. He's apart of Guns N' Roses. They're newer but really good. I've never heard anything like it." Sarah explained.
Oh my god. I'm working at the same place fucking Duff McKagan works at? I forgot that Appetite For Destruction came out in '87. Oh my, I'll be seeing Slash in his prime. I mean I still have a thing for bassists but Slash and a few other guitarists like George Lynch from Dokken and Joe Perry from Aerosmith. The list goes on.
"Matter of fact, there's the star himself." Adrianna pointed to Duff. I swallowed hard. I've seen so many pictures of him and thought he was a snack. Seeing him in person, he's a whole ass meal.
"Hey, I'm Duff. You must be Jordan?" He asked me with a smile.
                              "H-hey." I stammered. "I'm Jordan" I shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you Jordan. You're working the floor with me if that's okay?"
I'm working the floor? Like where all the chaos happens? Oh hell no. Seeing people go crazy is something for me to watch from a distance, not up close. But I need the money and I'm doing it with a member from Guns N' Roses. I better suck it up.
"Yes! Of course that's okay." I smiled. Duff gave me a wink and headed towards the back. "Well, uhum" I cleared my throat.
"Yeah. Duff is a total hottie." Sarah snickered.
As the night went on, people, as usual, barreled into the bar. Louder then ever. It took some getting used to but after awhile, I didn't mind it. I got into the hang of things quickly. It was honestly a very easy job. Aside from the occasional asshole trying to grab at my skirt. You just ask people if they would like some drinks, if they didn't, you just told them to ask you if they needed anything. If they did, you wrote down their drink, handed it to the barista and deliver it to them. Easy work for good money.
"Hey Jordan." I heard a voice behind me say.
I turned around to see Nikki standing there with his infamous smirk. The things I would do to this man.
"H-hello. Is there anything I can help you with or can I get you a bottle of Jack?" I ask politely.
"You're a cute waitress. But no I don't need anything to drink." He pointed at me. I felt my cheeks go red although I don't know if he was trying to insult me or not. "I was wondering if you would like to go out to eat."
"Uh...well I'm working and my coworkers need me." I swallow.
He smiled softly. "You have a 15 minute break right? That's all I need."
That's all I need? What the hell does that mean?
"I-I guess I can ask." I shrugged. "Just a moment."
I walk over to Duff. I look around and see some things have calmed down. "Hey Duff, I hate to ask but can I go on my 15 minute break?"
"Of course babe. I've got it covered." He winked.
I walk back over to Nikki who's eyeing me up and down. Did Nikki Sixx really just check me out or do I look stupid?
                              "Ready to go?" He asks.
"Yeah. Where would you like to eat?" I look up at him and see his gorgeous green eyes.
"Well you only have 15 minutes. So why not McDonald's?" He shruggs.
"Sounds good to me." I begin walking towards the huge M.
                              "Wow."
"What?" I turn back to see him smiling.
"You don't care that's its fast food?" He catches up to me.
                              I shook my head. "Nope."
"Interesting. So, tell me more about you Jordan." He grabs my hand and places it in his. I see some people take pictures. Damn Paparazzi.
"Well what do you wanna know?" I ask before heading inside McDonald's.
"Well first, where ya from?" Nikki stood in front of me.
                              "Olympia Washington. What about you?"
"Well, I was born here in San Jose but we've moved everywhere. Although I lived in Seattle when I was younger." He explained.
Right. When he was a teenager he lived up in Seattle. He then moved to Jerome Idaho and then made it down to LA. I knew a lot about him. At least the information that I could find. Of course, I couldn't tell him that.
"Oh. Army brat?" I ask stupidly knowing that that wasn't the right answer.
"Nope. Uh complicated house life." He says shortly.
We get our burgers and fries and begin eating. The way he eats is honestly cute. I know that's weird but like he's baby. My weakness.
"Nikki...?" I ask grabbing his attention.
                              "Yes?"
"Why'd you ask me to eat?" I ask. I watched him look down then straight into my eyes. I've done did it now....
"Well, to be quite honest, I thought you were cute and you seemed really nice. Why not? Why'd you agree to go out to eat with me?" He returned the conversation on me.
"Well, for one, I'm hungry. Two, I'm actually a fan of your music and you seemed like a cool person to hang out with." I answer kind of honestly. Truth was is that it was Nikki fucking Sixx who asked me out to eat.
                              "Interesting." He smiles.
"Ohp! I have to go. I'm so sorry. I'm going to be late back to work!" I say before I run out of the restaurant.
"Wait! I didn't get your number!" Nikki yelled after me.
It was too late. I didn't hear him. I burst through the doors. 1 minute late. I look to see Hank look at me with utter disgust.
                              "You're late." He huffs.
"I know sir I'm so sorry." I beg.
"Don't skate on thin ice. Go help Duff." He hisses at me. Fucking asshole. I'm late 1 minute and suddenly I'm the worst employee.
I sigh and grab a tray and walk towards Duff to continue my night. I couldn't complain all too much. I just went out to eat with Nikki Sixx. I'm working with Duff McKagan. Life's good.
