Russia x Depressed!Reader | Nothing | Requested

So I got requested this, and I'm gonna write my own saying about depression.

Depression is often written as cutting and self-harm, but it is actually more correct like this:

Major depressive disorder (MDD), also known as clinical depression, major depression, endogenous depression, unipolar depression, unipolar disorder or recurrent depression (in the case of repeated episodes) is a psychiatric condition or mood, characterized by episodes of depressed mood accompanied mainly by low self-esteem and loss of interest or pleasure in normally pleasant activities.

I wanted to point this out, some may already now it, some may not. Whether way, I think it's helpful.

Russia and Y/N were in her room, doing absolutely nothing.

The russian couldn't believe it.
They just spent half an hour trying to get her to do something.

She held a poker face for days now.

Russia was a 100% sure that something wasn't adding up.

Hell, even when her favorite show started, she turned off the television, and that was weird.

She said she didn't feel like it.

Usually the girl started jumping and singing along the opening as soon as she heard it, and now, nothing.

That's not something he found normal. Usually someone looses interest after a certain amount of time, not while in the middle of it.

And it was a really nice show, he was attracted to it as well, of course, thanks to Y/N.

He asked five times that day if something was wrong, and she just answered, 'nothing'.

Russia felt exasperated. A heavy sigh left him without realizing.

His head leaned on the bed behind him as his back leaned on the bed's side.

The girl barely lifted her head from the pillow in which she was sinking and said plainly: "If you're bored you can leave."

There was no trace of emotion in that sentence. No sadness, irritation, just nothing.

Russia growled slightly.

He wasn't leaving. Oh no, he for sure wasn't going to leave that soon, even if he had to stay the night.

Because something was wrong.

He wanted to ask again if something was wrong. Maybe the sixth time was the charm and she would answer.

Then he thought of a better question:
"What do you feel?"

"I'm not feeling anything, in the first place." Y/N's voice muffled softly by the pillow.

How could it be that she was feeling nothing?

More puzzled than before Russia scratched his head.

Damn, are girls usually this complicated?

Maybe she was testing him to see if he would leave her alone.

It was the only reason that seemed had some sense to him.

But it wasn't that.

Y/N had do mean to test him. She had this periods of time that made her feel so empty, sometimes as if something heavy slowed her down. It was so binding that she didn't even get up for a shower, dinner or brush her teeth.

Sometimes her laundry would be so full that it would take her two cycles of the washing machine to get rid of it all.

It was a problem she didn't know to have.

She always dismissed it as 'I'm just tired.', or other excuses.

It wasn't the sheer tiredness of a long day or laziness. Neither all those times in which she couldn't draw or sit through a movie or a song, was it because she was bored.

It happened often and didn't leave soon.

She thought nothing of it, when actually it was something.

But since it was normal, a simple routine she didn't know. She didn't even question it, as she always thought about minor reasons why.

And Russia was still there, for his friend. Trying to figure it out.

He will, he promised, he will know what's wrong and help her out.

Hope it's good this way, I didn't feel like doing what I often read in other's fanfiction (ofc I'm not targeting anyone, just opinion) and decided to lead it this way.
