Trouble

"I don't know why it felt so akward! He was a great kisser and was being so romantic...and get this, the second time he kissed me I screamed for help! When he asked me what I said I told him that I was about to loose control so I needed help...loose control like in a freaky way." I laugh so hard and try to continue telling Anna, and Destiny what happened. "I felt like an idiot! Hopefully when we go out again tomorrow, I won't feel so wierd..." Anna and Destiny exchange looks and I smell something fishy. " Why did you two just exchange looks?" They remain silent. "WHY?!" "Well maybe you still have feeling for...uhm...James..." Anna stutters. "I DO NOT!" I yell. They exchange looks again. "I don't! In fact just watch! I will kiss Jane tomorrow and won't have any problems!" They both whisper, "Mkai..." I fall back on my bed, annoyed that they think I still like James! I don...I don...why are the words so hard to say? Do I still like James? No, no I don...ugh I do not. I raise my head back up to remove the awkwardness from pervading any longer in the air. "So I saw y'all mingling with Chris and Will!" They sink into their chairs. "I knew you liked them!" I say. "Maybe just a little..." They admit. "A little?" I question. "Okay fine, a lot!" They scream. I smirk and lay back on my bed. We decided to have a "hang out until midnight" play date after the date. Persy would have came, but she had to finish homework. I wish she was here though, she is going to miss all the fun! Plus, I wanted to know about her boyfriend, Noah. I guess I will just ask her tomorrow. I'm so glad that it is Thursday! Tomorrow is Friday and I just really need a break. School has been weighing heavily on me. So many tests and learning and sports and homework! I check the time, 8:54 p.m. "Okay guys the movie is about to start, turn on my TV." I warn. They turn on my flat screen TV that my mom bought me 2 days ago. I grab the remote and type 40. In six minutes one of our favorite movies will start, Mean Girls 2.

I awake to my alarm going off. I tap the top of it and swing my legs to the side of my bed. I rub my eyes and check the time, 6:16 a.m. I stand up and shuffle to the bathroom as I grab my towel and sponge. After I finish showering and brushing I do my normal routine. Today I decide I was to lazy to dress up real nice. I'm wearing white, short shorts with a sea blue crop top that hangs under my shoulders. Although I'm lazy I put on a little more makeup than usual. I put on waterproof mascara, gray eye shadow, and pink lip stick. No powder because there really is nothing to cover up. I slip on my blue vans and head downstairs for breakfast. Like usual my mom is on the phone, I can't blame her. She runs a TV company AND does commercials. Once she sees me she hangs up the phone and starts to smile wide. "Morningggggg honey!" She says. She is extra jumpy today. "Morning mom." I respond. "Okay so I just got off the phone with my manager and I set you up for a model shoot! I know since you were a little girl you wanted me to make you a model. And now you got it baby!" She blurts. I smiles so wide that I feel my lips stretch. "Mom! Thank you soooooooo much!!!!" I yell. I have always wanted to be a model! Always! My week just keeps getting better and better! My phone beeps and I pull it out of my pocket, which was a cue for my mom to pull out her phone and start to talk again. It is a text from Destiny asking me if I am almost there. I look at the top of my phone to check the time. 7:45 a.m. Oh my gosh! Time really flew past me. I yell, "Bye mom!" and my mom waves at me. I sprint through the door and to Destiny's house. I get there in about 5 minutes and I know for sure we are going to be late to school. We turn into track stars running to school even though we know we won't make in time. I really hope our teacher will be late again today, like she always is. With that thought I slow down a little bit to let Destiny catch up to me since I run a lot faster than her. "Why did you stop running so fast?" Destiny asks as soon as she catches up. "Well first, I wanted you to catch up and second, I realized our teacher is always late to homeroom." I answer. We both are still running, but not as fast anymore. "I can see the school!" She says. Our jogging turns into a sprint so we can reach the door and surprisingly the bell hasn't rung yet. "What on earth!? What time is it, Desty?" I ask. She grabs her phone and says, "7:59 a.m." We both laugh and walk in then go our separate ways. "See you in homeroom in like a minute, literally!" She calls. I nod and smile. For once James isn't by his locker. Oh, spoke to soon. He is walking over to it now. Just ignore him, Diamond. I get to my locker and act like he isn't there. Although it's hard to ignore someone when they are checking you out. "Take a picture, it will last longer." I tease. "I notice you are wearing eye shadow. You never do." He replies. "Yeah, I would know." I say. "Why?" He asks. "Why what?" "Why are you wearing it today?" "None of your business." I say. With that I close my locker and strut away. I get a few whistles from guys across the hall. I can't help, but let a grin spread across my face. With no surprise, I notice my teacher isn't there. I sit in my seat and Tre starts to head over to me. "Hey, you look different today." He says. Since I'm not with James, I guess I can talk to him. Plus he did help me find out that James was a cheater. "In a good or bad way?" I ask. "Oh, definitely good." He says while biting the inside of his cheek. He sits down next to me and we just talk until the teacher gets here and he flirts with me every once in a while until I remember about Jane and try to end the conversation. "Um, I forgot something in my locker. Brb." I get up and walk away. James must have seen me because once I walk out the door he follows me. "Why were you talking to Tre?!" He asks. "Do you have a life or do you just stalk me all the time?" I ask. "Both I guess." He replies and I roll my eyes. "Now answer my question." "That really isn't any of your business." He walks closer to me and put his arms on both side of me while a lay against the lockers. He comes as close as possible to close the space in between us. "You are mine, Diamond. Only mine." He says. He kisses me quickly then walks back to the class room. I sigh. Did that really just happen? Am I dreaming? I pinch myself and pain rushes through me. Nope. I stroll back to class.

The ear killing shriek of the bell wakes me up from my "almost slipping into sleep" daydream. My English teacher dismisses us and I grab my stuff then shuffle out of the room. I stop at the bathroom to make sure I didn't smudge my makeup. I look into my eyes then scan my face in the mirror. If anything my makeup looks better. I ruffle my hair a little bit and start to walk out of the bathroom until I see Sarah. "Ha, thought you could pull off booty shorts, huh? Well you were dead wrong." I turn around and say, " I'm sorry I don't remember asking for your opinion. Did I accidentally drop a care on that hollow little head of yours? If I did would you be so kind to give it back so I can use it on more important things?" I raise up my fingers as in counting my cares. "Oh nope. Looks like I got them all. So as you can see I really don't care." I walk out before she can say anything else. Destiny walks up from behind and links her arm with mine. "Hey, hey, hey!" She says in a excited voice. "Someone is happy. Why, why, why?" I mimic. "Well we are still going on the ...quadruple date right?" She asks. "Yup and we have to wait for Anna, so...." I pause. "OHHHHHH! You are excited to see your little boyfriend! Awe! Maybe you should kiss him today!" I tease. She smacks me on the arm. "Shut up!" She warns. I put my hands up as if I'm surrendering and say, "Okay, okay. Anyway we have to go get Anna." She nods her head and we walk to Anna's homeroom. We pass my locker and James pops into my head. "Oh my gosh! I need to tell you about what happened with James and I today!" "What?" She asks. "Okay so I was talking to Tre in homeroom and he started to flirt with me. Then Jane popped into my mind and I felt really awkward talking to Tre. So I pretended I had to get something from my locker and James followed me. He asked me why I was talking to Tre and I asked him if he has a life or if he just stalks me all the time and he said both. And then he asked me the question again and I said it was none of his business. Then he walked up to me and said that I was his and only his then he quickly kissed me then walked away." I blurt. As I was talking Destiny's eyes kept on getting bigger and bigger, and now that I'm done her eyes are so big that they look like big, black fist in her eyes. All she can manage to say is, "Wow." "I know right! I mean I don't like him anymore, but that was sooo.....like I can't even think of any words to describe it." I look at Destiny and she is just nodding her head to agree. I think I might of left her speechless. We reach Anna's homeroom and she walks out. "Hey! Quadruple date time!" She says as a smile spreads across her face. I laugh. Destiny and Anna are more excited than I am! I take out my phone and text, "Hey, you almost here?" In less then a minute he text back. "Yeah, can't wait to see you." A smile and put my phone back into my pocket. Wait, if James kissed me does that mean I cheated on Jane? I didn't even think about that! "Oh, Diamond, tell Anna about the James thing." She says. I go on and on about what happened with James and I. After I finish I ask, "But does that mean that I cheated on Jane?!" As soon as I ask they both yell, "No!" I breathe a sigh of relief. "Because you and Jane aren't really dating yet, plus James kissed you and it isn't like you liked it." I nervously look to the side. I don't know if I liked it...
