Daring

As we wait outside for Jane to arrive the subject is on the kisses with Jane at Chipotle. Anna and Destiny are bickering about it, but I'm just on my phone trying to ignore them. "That doesn't mean she doesn't like Jane! It was their first date, you aren't supposed to kiss on a first date." Destiny yells. I shake my head, they care more about it than I do. "People kiss on their first date! If she liked him then she would have went with it, not scream for help." Anna yells back. I give Anna a look. "It's true!" She says before I can say anything. I roll my eyes. "I do like him! Just wait, I'll kiss him and won't have a single problem!" I say. "You don't have to do that, Diamond. We BOTH know you like him." Destiny replies. Right when Anna is about to say something Jane pulls up with Persy, Will, Chris, and Noah in the back seat. Anna hops in next to Will and Destiny next to Chris. I get into the front seat with Jane and he gives me a kiss on the cheek, and I don't feel any awkwardness at all. I smile. "So how was your day, Beauty?" He asks. "Good, great now." I respond. "Yours?" "Horrible compared to now." He says. We drive off and I'm actually really excited for the date.

I can't believe I fell asleep in the car! It was so embarrassing having Jane wake me up, even though he thought it was cute. I walk into the movies. I'm really excited to see Insurgent! It was Divergent to Insurgent and soon it will be Allegient! I absolutely love the Diveregent series! Jane grabs my hand and squeezes it. I giggle. The others are following close behind, but this time I'm not afraid of Jane. I know how dumb that must've sounded. Although I feel like last time when I was hanging out with Jane, I would keep on thinking of James, but even though James kissed me, it's like the kiss showed me that I really don't like him anymore. I didn't realize how quiet I must've been because Jane has a confused expression on his face and he is staring at me. "Why you so quiet?" He asks. "Just afraid that if I talk, I will say something dumb." I slap my forehead. "Well that didn't work out very well for me." He laughs at my joke and I blush. He kisses me on the cheek. We walk into the movie room. It is just about to start. "Candy?" Jane asks. "Yass." I say in a goofy way. He hands me two packs of watermelon sour patches. "Thanks." I start to pass one down thinking he was giving me two so I could give other people. "No, they are both for you. I know you love sour patches." He hands me more candy to give to Chris, Destiny, Anna, Will, Persy, and Noah. I open my own as he does the same. We both pop one into our mouth and sit back for the movie. Right when the movie starts Jane slides his arm around me. I giggle thinking it is so cheesy. "What?!" Jane asks concerned. "Haha, nothing." I say.
