"And it just slipped out? Just like that?" Taehyung squealed, absolutely over the moon at the news of Jimin's mating.

"Yes Tae." Jimin replied, prying the fingers of his best friend off of him so he could continue.

Him and Tae were snuggling in bed, something they haven't done for a while, both having been caught up in one thing or another. But now Taehyung was pregnant, Jungkook was forcing him to rest more than before, so the two were spending the rest of the day together.

Jimin had briefly left his den this morning, just to pop into the nursery and help out with the pups. A new teacher had taken over, her name was Eunice. She was a lovely middle aged beta, scent so warm and comforting, a completely contrast to Eunyoung. When the pups had asked what was happening, and where Eunyoung was, Eunice had to explain that she had moved packs. Jimin couldn't help but shiver whilst she explained, knowing the real reason she was no longer here.

The nursery had had a couple of weeks off, with the absence of Eunyoung and the lack of teachers, Jimin was beginning to worry that he couldn't take on this all by himself anymore. But Eunice kindly volunteered, and after spending a couple of days together, Jimin knew already that she was far better than Eunyoung. The pups agreed so too, with Jungwoo expressing his dislike for the old alpha rather loudly.

In some ways, Eunice reminded him of Misun. She had a lovely warm smile, such an inviting aura and she had a motherly way about her. Maybe Jimin was too trusting, maybe he got too attached to people and couldn't help but see the good in everyone. But Eunice was a really promising character, someone who, although had not been in Jimins life long, he would treat with respect always. She had made such a good first impression, although a little chaotic the way she tumbled through the door almost scaring the life out of everyone. She greeted Jimin immediately with a hug and a ruffle on the head, making him relax instantly.

She had placed her, rather worn out, brown satchel on the desk, completely ignoring how carelessly she had just dumped it on top of the school work. And continued to open it and pull out a container full of berries. Not the average way to start a school day, Jimin had thought to himself. Nevertheless, she proceeded to open them up and offer everyone a berry, picked by hand whilst she was out in the forest the day before, even going as far as to let Jimin have the left overs. From then on out he knew she was a special character.

Jimin currently was laying with his head almost buried in Taehyungs neck, leaving no space between them, when his best friend decided to speak up.

"Chim." He started, combing his fingers through Jimins hair.

Jimin could only make a hum of acknowledgement, too tired to verbally respond.

"You know, you getting mated to Yoongi, it means you have to come clean about some things."

This made Jimin sit up.

"I know you may not want to." Taehyung looked at him softly and cupped his cheek.
"But this is important, and a relationship built on trust, with no secrets, is a healthy relationship Chim."

"I know, I know that." Jimin huffed with a sigh. "It's just, isn't it too late to bring this up now?"

Taehyung looked scandalised that Jimin would say such a thing.

"Hey no Chim. Your feelings are always valid, no matter how far you've come, no matter how much you think of it anymore. Your feelings are always valid, there's never a bad time to bring them up." Taehyung squeezed his hand gently.

"In fact I think Yoongi Hyung would love it if you told him what you've told me, you know, about Misun and all."

Jimin shivered at the thought of telling Yoongi such information. It wasn't that he didn't trust the alpha, because he did. He trusted him with his life. He just didn't want anyone to see him differently. There was no need to keep bringing up old memories that didn't affect him as much now. But Taehyung was right, Yoongi would probably be over the moon to find out Jimin trusted him enough to discuss this with him. So he would tell him, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but he would tell him.

"I have returned, you can all calm down now." Jungkook bellowed as he opened the den door with a wide smile on his face, immediately making his way over to Taehyung to give him a kiss on the forehead, making the omega turn a bright shade of red.

"Oh Kookie thank God!" Jimin sighed dramatically.
"I don't think I could bare a second longer without your presence!" The omega continued sarcastically, pretending to faint and falling backwards on the bed with a thump.

"Shutup shortie." The alpha responded, earning a glare from Jimin.

"That's Hyung to you!" He yelled, but not being able to hold in his laughter.

Jungkook stared over at him with such a fond look on his face, and in the heat of the moment, he strode over to give Jimin a kiss on the forehead too.

"Should I be worried?" Taehyung spoke, but really he looked rather fond of his two favourite people getting along so well. Jungkook was rarely affectionate with his friends, so to see this made Taehyung smile.

"No, my love." The alpha turned to look at Taehyung, giving him a wink before speaking up again.

"It just makes me happy to see Jiminie laughing and teasing, I'm glad you've come this far."  Jungkook mumbled, incredible shy now.

Twenty minutes later found Yoongi walking into the den, only to stop in his tracks as he saw the three youngest all cuddling together on the bed, fast asleep.
