A new home (yoonmin)

"Woah, Tae. You're massive." Jimin shouted, walking round the table to stand infront of his best friend. The weather was beginning to warm up, dark clouds replaced by blue skies and harsh winds no where to be seen. Due to the weather change, this was the first time Jimin was really seeing Taehyung's belly, usually it was covered up in layers due to the cold weather. But as the first bit of sun in months shone down on the pack, everyone was out in as little clothing as possible. Pups were out playing, adjusting to their wolf forms and annoying their parents by biting their ankles. Jimin swore he saw a group of young alphas head down to the lake today.

"Thanks?" Tae questioned.

Jimin just rolled his eyes and sat down next to the pregnant omega, eyes focused on his belly.

"It's a good thing, silly." Jimin didn't hesitate to steal some bread off the plate infront of him, not getting very far before his arm was smacked and the bread was snatched between his fingers.

"Who's the pregnant one here?" Jungkook spoke, as he placed the bread back on Taehyung's plate and moved to sit beside the two. "Get your own food Jimin."

"I will in a bit, I'm waiting for Yoongi to get here first."

"Where is that mate of yours?" Taehyung spoke as he  leant in to give Jungkook a quick peck on the lips.

"Ew, not in-front of the baby. Have some decency you two." Jungkook rolled his eyes. "And Yoongi is having a brief meeting with Namjoon, something about hunting routes." Jimin quickly stole a strawberry from Taehyung's plate before Jungkook could stop him, sticking his tongue out at the two.

"Sounds boring." Taehyung added with a laugh.

"That's exactly why I'm not there, I can use the pregnant mate excuse whenever I please." Jungkook intervened.

"What if you miss something exciting or important?" The oldest out of the three added.

"When has anything exciting or important ever happened in this pack?" Jungkook fed his mate the last strawberry on the plate before pushing it away.

"I could name a few."  Taehyung said through a mouthful of strawberry. "Like the time you and Jimin literally got kidnapped." He deadpanned.

"Touché."

"Or the time Yoongi had that fight in the woods. Oh and are you forgetting the fact that Jimin here-" He gestured over to Jimin's direction, "Is literally a stray wolf from the mountains. Oh and-"

"Yes okay, Baby. There's been a lot, you're right." The alpha caved in whilst Jimin began fake gagging at the scene. Luckily the couple were interrupted by two new presences at the table. Jinyoung and Hoseok sat down side by side together, their plates piled high with food and their faces slightly flushed from the sun.

"Yo wassup." Hoseok greeted, earning a smack from Jinyoung.

"Don't say such stupid things, you sound like an idiot." Jinyoung turned to meet Jimin's eyes and gave him a little wave.

In all honesty Jimin felt bad. He hasn't been to visit Jinyoung for a while now, even though he knows Jinyoung will understand, the omega still felt incredibly guilty at the thought of upsetting one of his friends. He knew the beta would give up anything and everything to make sure Jimin was okay.

"Jinyoung, a little birdie told me that Jaebeom popped the question?" Hobi commented as if he was just discussing the weather.

"The question? He asked to mate?" Taehyung shouted, earning a few heads to turn and look towards the table.

"Shhhh. He might have."

"And you didn't tell me?" Jimin asked, genuinely hurt that one of his favourite people hadn't told him the news yet.

"Jimin," Junyoung's voice was soft as he looked at him with gentle eyes. "I haven't seen you for a couple of weeks. You know, you being busy with mated life and all." The beta laughed, but Jimin couldnt find it in himself to smile, he was sad that Jinyoung hadn't said anything, and he knew it was his own fault.

"You're right, I'm so happy for you Jinyoung."

The beta cooed at him and made his way around the table to engulf Jimin into a suffocating hug, planting a gentle kiss on the top of his head.

He pulled back to stare at Jimin. "When are you going to come for lunch with me and Jaebeom? You can bring your mate if you'd like, I miss you Jimin."

"We'll be round next week." A new voice commented from behind Jimin, and the omega couldn't help but squeal when he recognised Yoongi's scent. He all but Jumped on Yoongi, finally content to be back in his mates arms after such a long morning without him.

"Baby, get a plate of food and let's go, I need a nap." The alpha said as he slumped against the table, obviously tired from rising early to meet Namjoon.

"Yoongi! You can't steal Jimin already, you get him all the time!" Jinyoung spoke, clearly outraged.

"He's my mate, I'm taking him home."

"Listen here-"

Jimin chuckled as he walked off to fill up his plate, the arguments about him drowning out as he got further and further away from the table. He couldn't help but smile whilst getting food, his friends were just the best. And his mate was even better.
