A new home (yoonmin)

Jimin missed Yoongi. It wasn't a normal type of miss though, he longed for Yoongi. It felt like he had been separated from his alpha for days, when realistically it had only been a few hours. Jimin knew this was a consequence of mating the alpha two days ago, because ever since he had been extremely clingy and overbearing. He didn't know how Yoongi had put up with him. The omega huffed, more than slightly irritated that he had to be separated from his mate so early into their mating. His mark was still fresh for gods sake! Jimin and Yoongi needed time to adjust to their mated life, as the ache inside the omegas chest was causing him a real problem.

He couldn't even leave his den! He briefly left earlier to get breakfast with his friends, but just felt so entirely uneasy without Yoongi by his side, and immediately scurried back home to wrap himself in the sheets which smelt like his mate. Most of Jimin's day had been spent reading his book, which now he was completely bored by. A nap to pass the time wouldn't hurt, would it?

He was awoken to soft hands threading through his hair, and smelt his mate before he even saw him. Opening his eyes, he stared at Yoongi, wanting nothing more but to dive into his arms. So that's exactly what he did.

"Woah, Sunshine." The alpha grunted, nevertheless immediately adjusting to the sudden weight forced upon him, and easily swivelling them round to sit down.

It was often that Jimin liked to let his omega out. Letting his omega out meant he was vulnerable, and due to his past experiences, Jimin knew it was better to keep himself under control and not give into any urges. But Yoongi made it so easy. He made it so easy just to cling to him for hours, to purr against his chest and to whine when separated. Yoongi didn't judge him, he assisted him, helped him and most importantly, cared for him.

"Missed you so much, Yoonie." Jimin whined, voice coming out muffled into the alpha's chest. Yoongi simply just shushed him, patting his back and reassuring the omega that he was here now.

"I know, baby," The alpha sighed. "I missed you more. You were all I could think about during the hunt today." Jimin lifted his head, more then slightly happy with the fact that his alpha missed him too.

"Nuh- uh. I missed you more." The eldest simply just laughed, loving the moments he got to witness Jimin being a whiny baby, those were his favourite.

"Let's agree to disagree, Sunshine."

Staying like that, wrapped in each other's arms was, bliss for the two. Yoongi may have been good at hiding it, but the ache in his chest due to the distance between him and his mate had affected their hunt massively today. He couldn't get Jimin off his mind, he was constantly wondering whether or not the omega was safe. Did he leave the den? Is he with someone? Was he in danger? All of these worries plagued his mind, Jungkook had even asked him to go back to Jimin, telling Yoongi that it was too early to be separated.

So coming back to his mate, asleep tucked up in their bed looking cuter than ever, was everything Yoongi could have hoped for. And now looking at the omega currently drifting off to sleep in his arms, he realised he couldn't be more in love.

"Baby, let's move so we can nap." Jimin could only manage a nod in his sleepy state, and was pliant as Yoongi moved them further down the bed so they could snuggle up. The alpha had to stifle a laugh as his omega immediately attached onto him, wrapping around him like a koala would do. Sighing, Yoongi began patting his mates head, both of them on the verge of sleep.

"I'm so glad we are mates, Yoonie."

"Me too, baby."  Yoongi spoke as he kissed the top of his mates head. "Me too."
