You and Tony walked through Central Park, hand in hand, smiling unconditionally at being with each other.
"Tony, this advanced gene editing thing my team is working on could change everything! "CRISPR" technology is revolutionizing biomedical research. We can target and edit genes at precise locations along the lengthy DNA chains of organisms. CRISPR could help researchers correct mutations in the human genome, effectively treating genetic diseases. But it might lead to the creation of designer babies, or unleash consequences we cannot predict." Tony cut off your excited rambling as you explained to him the project you have been putting so much effort into.
"Designer babies can't possibly be as much as a disappointment to human kind than those kids playing Cards Against Humanity while playing Pokémon Go by the fountain. Anyway, keep going. Your cute when you get all passionate, babe." Tony said pointing to some teenagers on the grass.
You huffed, "Tony, focus! Anyway, we've been working on it at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. Oh Tony! It's incredible! We can help all those ill kids. We can use it in bacteria, we can do it in plants, we can do it in animals, we can do it in-shIT" You shrieked when you tripped over large rock on the grass behind you, right into your loving boyfriend's arms.
He laughed, "Okay 'Daymond John' how about you sit down on this conveinantly placed bench and gather your bearings."
Tony sat you down on the bench. You then realized how close to him you were and could only think what could happen next. You both had to kiss eventually right? You were surprised how slow Tony was going with you and your relationships compared to the countless others he's had.
You've both been silent for some time now and at the corner of your eyes, you could see Tony blalantly admiring you. It was getting really akward and tense and you had to break it.
"Is it getting really hot out here? Whew. Is it just me? Are you feelin really hot righ-" You couldn't finish your sentence when Tony grabbed the sides of your face and smashed his lips to yours.
You couldn't describe it. Your mind was blank, your stomach was churning in a delightful way, your hand grabbed on to the back of his neck to balance yourself.
Tony slowly pulled back staring into you y/ec eyes, which shined in the evening sun. Neither of you had anything to say, so he just pulled you close with one arm as you snuggled up to his side. You both were content in eachother's embrace, watching the New York commotion around you.
