nine || 아홉

Heeyoung became so depressed with and about everything. She didn't even want to talk to anyone but herself. But she always wanted to talk when her dear friend was there.

Why did Soohwa have to leave right then and there? Heeyoung was and has been only thinking of her best friend's passing. Soohwa's family didn't know this yet since she was only gone for one day. They never even cared about her. Wow, what a great family she has.

Heeyoung walked into the cafeteria to only find a spot next to Eunkyo on the far left of her vision. He was there. He never came to a table and eat before. He would usually be in the bathroom or in the halls and after, we would see him come back to the classroom but all messed up, like he was fighting himself. We didn't even know if he was even eating or not.

Heeyoung came in late, having no choice but to sit at Eunkyo's table since all the tables were full. Not what she did for Eunkyo in their homeroom, but she didn't want to because she felt so embarrassed to find the girls bullying her too.

She went up to his table, feeling the atmosphere getting warmer and warmer by every step. "Hey, uhm can I sit here?" Heeyoung asked, looking at him who was enjoying his lunch. "I don't mind." Eunkyo blushed, seemingly so nice, nice enough to even let a person, the one he hates the most, on his table. "Thanks." Heeyoung smiled her way to the table to take a seat.

Now everyone was staring. Why though? Was it because of the awkwardness of Eunkyo and Heeyoung together. Probably.

Heeyoung scooted more inwards where Eunkyo was sitting. She wanted to tell him something. He looked scared, like she was gonna attack him with her crackhead skills. Eunkyo became shy and felt his face light up with bright redness. Was he blushing?

"Sorry to bother you, but why does everyone keep staring at us?" Heeyoung asked him, closer to his ear, she talked. "It's probably the fact that I have never been with anyone before or I have never been in the cafeteria eating food here." Eunkyo looked up, food stuffed in his mouth and looked back at Heeyoung who was smiling widely. "Makes sense." She acted so cute. Eunkyo almost 'uwued' right at his spot.

She scooted back to the spot she was in, telling Eunkyo to save her spot. She was just gonna get a musubi (a snack where there is spam with rice and seaweed wrapped around it) in the line. That was the only thing she could think of eating.
