                                              "So. You think you can find my lair and escape alive? " A high cold laugh escaped his lips. "Countless of skilled wizards have already tried and failed," he hissed. "What makes you think that a few underage wizards can defeat me? Better just go back to Hogwarts and stay under the protection of Albus Dumbledore," he mocked in scorn. With a disturbingly snake-like laugh, he vanished.
                          A blood-red gleam lingered in the darkness after him. Like the blood that was yet to be spilled...
                          ~Line break~

                          "HOLY MOTHER OF MERLIN-"
                          "What in the name of Salazar Slytherin?"
                          "Guys, I think I'm hallucinating..."
                          Lily decided she had to take control of the situation. "I think we all just had a vision of You-Know-Who," she breathed. Everyone else nodded in agreement, either shaken up or very surprised, or both. Sirius, who was (un)fortunately Rennervated (no thanks to James) continued, "Nevertheless, we should still continue on our mission. This- this is why we have to finish this. I don't know about you, but I am not letting You-Know-Who take over my world!"
                          "Hot," James breathed.
                          He was silenced by two punches to his stomach.
                          Remus sighed and levitated them apart.
                          Desperate to redeem himself, James said, *Well, that's true. You-know-who won't just let us go on our way back to Hogwarts. He'll attack the school. So I say if we're going to die, might as well do it bravely!"
                          The rent was so silent you could hear the Augeries cawing outside.
                          "Two dimwits talking half decent sense," Snape muttered. "The world must really be coming to an end."
                          "...You hear that, V-V-Voldemort?! We won't ever give up! We will fight till the end!" James shouted, slightly stupidly.
                          "You really shouldn't have done that, Potter!" Lily hissed.
                          "So...you still insist on continuing with your pointless mission?" His lipless mouth curled. "Well, I'll take pleasure in torturing you with my worst beasts."
