Love is difficult to come by.
You need to search for it and once you do, you need to prepare yourself for pain. It's an emotion that is deemed to be weak. An emotion that is stripped from stormtroopers, or at least meant to be. You were that special exception. Somehow, you experienced sadness, heartache, anger, pity, all the emotions stormtroopers aren't meant to exhibit. It sometimes frightened you that someone will uncover your truth and rewire your brain again.
You'd hate to live a loveless life. One with no sentiment.
However, there was so point to live with love and feelings. Not if no one else feels the exact same way you do. There was no one willing to reciprocate love and compassion with you. Everyone in the First Order were meek, robotic, heartless, stripped of feelings.
Of course they were. No one wanted to be weak. They rather be hungry power dogs than weak, passionate souls.
You blinked at the night sky and realized how distracted you were. You cursed at yourself and placed your helmet back on. You gazed around to see if anyone was around, and that's when you caught the eyes of a General.
"Oh no." You mumbled.
"YN-2174, can you please explain to me why your helmet was off during duty?" General Hux approached you.
"I got distracted, General." You explained. It was a rather weak explanation and Hux knew that.
He's going to send me off. I won't feel anything anymore. You sadly thought.
Hux stared at you with a blank expression, "Don't do it again, YN-2174, or you will be reprocessed."
"Yes, General." You said.
Hux hummed then walked away. You stood still for a second or so, trying to recall what had just happened. General Hux had shown you mercy, something which you assumed he never does as it would show a failure in his program. Which was a weakness.
You snapped out of your thoughts once again and walked off, returning back to your post.
