"What are you guys doing here?" I asked bumping my shoulder with Aziel.
"We go to school here. Duh" Caden, the black-haired guy replied with a grin. The other two guys also had different variations of the same grin.
"You could have told me yesterday. I don't like to be caught by suprise" I asked opening my locker and dumping some of my books in it. The lady at the front office also mentioned I could decorate it if I wanted to but I don't really see the point of it. "Which one of you were supposed to be my school guide?" I asked closing my locker.
"All three of us really" Aziel replied with a smile. Just when I was starting to think he didn't feel emotions he surprised me. I kinda relaxed a bit. I don't really see the point of whining about the situation when I'm going to be stuck with them either way.
"Come on now lets get you to your first class. Mrs. Garcia gave us each a copy of your schedule so we'd accompany you throughout the day" Caden took my books from my hand and looped his hand with mine. "You wouldn't want to be late now would you, sweetheart" he raised an eyebrow.
"Lead the way Charming" I teased and let out a laugh. All four of us walked towards my (our) first class. I still looked around observing the hallways and just anything within my eye range. The whole school looked to be built into an old palace of sorts. I mean this could literally be a knock off version of Hogwarts.
My old school was very normal. I mean it was just a typical public high school, I guess. Just a crappy old building with decent lockers and classrooms. Comparing the two schools wasn't possible as they weren't even in the same league.
We kept on walking through hallways, zig-zagging our way through the students. They were a few students who kept glancing my way but their gaze didn't linger too long. I almost sighed in relief.
I expected people to stare at me wierdly, cause I mean I was the 'new' kid right? Who says that it should definitely happen? Well every teen movie/ book ever, duh. Obviously I didn't have any experience being the new student at a school but I thought all the stuff that seemed to happen to the 'new' kid in fiction would happen to me.
On second thought, that might sound conceited but I was just confused.
We stopped in front of a classroom and Caden held the door open for me. "After you milady" he even did the dramatic bow.
"Why, thank you sire" I curtsied and entered the room whilst giggiling.
"You are a dramatic idiot" I heard Dylan mumble followed by a smack (which I assumed was for Caden).
I took a seat in the middle of the class and pulled out my books and pencils. I turned facing the board as the teacher entered the class and noticed Aziel take the seat beside me. I bent my heard in his direction and raised my eyebrow in silent question.
"What? Am I not supposed to sit here?" Aziel asked smirking.
"I thought you'd sit with them" I said nodding towards Dylan and Caden who were still bickering.
"Trust me they can get pretty irritating after a while" he said with a smile. With that the two of us turned to pay attention to the what the teacher was saying. He kept gave us a overview of all the topics we would be discussing in our classes and all that boring stuff. I wondered how he could keep talking about all the boring topics without getting well.....bored. I dozed off halfway through his speech but woke up just when he announced. "So the person sitting next to you today is gonna be your partner for this class for the rest of the year"
This earned him groans from the class.
"I'm stuck with you" I said just as the bell rang. I picked up all my books and pencils and shoved them in my bag this time waiting for Aziel. They told they all had the same classes as me so I had to see them throughout the day and also a little politeness never hurt anyone right?
