"I don't think this is a good idea Aziel" Caden mutters while Aziel hands me the keys to his Maserati. Yes, his Maserati! I don't know what surprised me. The fact that Aziel owned a Maserati or the fact that he trusted me enough to lend it to me! Either way, I don't care, I get to drive his Maserati.

"Stop looking like a ten-year old who just received an early Christmas present. You look like you could explode with joy" Dylan mutters dryly. He wasn't wrong at all. I felt like I could explode with joy! Before Aziel changes his mind I almost ran towards the Maserati and sat in the driver's seat.

Damn, this car was sweettt. It was such a beauty.

"Does she even know how to drive properly?" Caden mutters again.

"Keep talking Mathews and I'll run this car over you" I threatened Caden. "Let's go the race is about to start. Or are you guys too chicken to go now" I teased.

The three of them sighed and each got into a different car and the four of us drove out of Aziel's garage. The only reason I got the Maserati was because the three of them could never loose it to the other person so they never drove it to races.

The engine roared to life under me and smiling, I followed the guys to the race track.

"Yes, she is gonna be racing today"

"No, we aren't quiting. We are racing too"

"What do you mean its not possible?!"

This had been going on between Aziel and the some other guy in a turtle neck from the moment we got out of our cars, which was five minutes ago. Apparently, the guy who had to choose the racers today wasn't particularly "friends" with the three guys. So he was being the annoying little idiot he is. Caden's words not mine.

"Okay fine" the guy in the turtle neck finally agreed. Aziel turned his back to him and walked over towards where Caden, Dylan and I were standing a few feet over.

"So we all are put into the same racing group and just for one race. I tried to get us a couple but that little idiot wouldn't budge. He said allowing a new member was him doing us a huge favour. Anyways, race starts in five minutes"

We wished each other luck, actually I wished them luck and Caden and Dylan just told me to not cry when they beat my ass. I shrugged them off. They both can act like children sometimes.

"I am assuming that you know the rules. So, lets get started" I wasn;t prepared for the loud voice booming from a nearby speaker.

"THREE!!!!!" cue the cheers.

"TWOOO!!!" more cheers.

"ONEEEEE!!!!" nonsensical screaming.

"GO!"

I floored the gas of my Maserati and the engine unleashed itself. I literally can't believe I am actually driving a Maserati! Not just driving under the speedlimit (which is almost a joke for this car) but actually driving it in full speed. I didn't have any problem controlling the car even in full speed. I was used to this.

Everyone outside the car blurred into one and I smiled to myself. I was easily in the lead. Two cars down from me was Caden, he kept honking at nothing in particular. Hoping to distract or annoy someone I think. Knowing Caden its most probably the latter.

I could make out the outline of Aziel's and Dylan's car in my rear view mirror. The were closing in fast on us. They were two other racers who were along the same line Caden and I were in but they seemed to be slowing down.

We were coming up on a turn and Aziel used the turn to his advantage and sped ahead of us all. Smart. He was using his mind rather than just relying on speed like all of us. I knew I was absolutely carried away by the speed.
