"No, I don't think that's the best way" I argue. Caden has been trying for the past few minutes to convince us that setting of the smoke alarms is the best way to cause a distraction for the guards in The Casa.

"But it's the most unexpected. No one would expect thieves to be so dumb" Caden continued, still trying to prove his point.

"No. We can do that. Its too unreliable and also the vault section of the house is fire proof, flood proof and also bomb proof. So the security guards there wont leave because of that" Dylan countered, his tone was stern enough that Caden gave up.

"So let's go through what we know once again" Aziel says, wiping the white board clean once again. Why this dude had a hidden white board in his bedroom is a whole other mystery. All three of them looked expectantly at me. Sighing, I picked up a marker and walked towards the board.

"So there isn't much we know-" I began when I heard Caden mumble something that included negative Nancy. I decided to ignore him. "-but what we do know is that the guards' shifts change every 4 hours during the day and once every 2 hours during the night. The house has a state-of-the-art security system which can only be accessed with a plug-in device. So that's our first priority, find a way to physically attach a flash drive into the system. Our mission wont do us any good if we keep setting off all the damn alarms" while I was explaining this to them I drew a rough picture of the front of the house.

"These two cameras-" I say drawing two big dots on the pillars on either side of the gate "-are watched 24/7. They are not a part of the circuit of the rest of the house. They get their power from the security office at the gate. We cannot afford to get caught by these cameras. The good news is that these can be hacked easily from anywhere. We also know that two guards are always present at the vault. They have a manual key with them that opens the chamber to the actual vault. We don't really know anything about the vault design or its own security system but for now we have a basic plan" I say finally giving up my half attempts at stupid diagrams and flow-charts.

"And what is that plan exactly" Caden asks with raised eyebrows. I threw my marker at him.

"Idiot. Let's worry about the details of the plan later. First we need to know when we are going to do this" I look at the guys. Motioning for them to give me an exact date of the heist.

"We can do it on 1st October" Aziel offers skeptically. "There is an annual celeberation held there. But the event is invitation only and the security is doubled during that time"

"Why would you even bring it up you jerk!" Caden exclaims while punching Aziel slightly in the shoulder. "We'll be better off stealing from them on a normal day"

I thought over what Aziel said. If what he says is true then the security would obviously be a bigger problem and not to mention the event itself. However, it would provide the perfect cover for the heist. We could get in, steal whatever item that was inside the vault and use the event as cover for our escape. A plan was slowly starting to form in my head. Maybe there was a sliver of hope for us. October 1st is almost a month away, so much yet so little time.

Ten minutes later, I knew exactly what we were supposed to do.

"Darling, you gotta let me go. Should I stay or should I go" Caden sings in a completely off-key voice. I tried telling him politely that he had a horrible voice but he didn't listen. I tried telling in a not-so-polite way but he still wouldn't stop. I decided to give up.

"You get used to this after a while" Dylan says in an almost bored voice.

"Get used to what?"

"His shenanigans" Aziel replies with a smile. I scoffed. Shenanigans, seemed liked the right word for Caden.
