Previously: Everyone left the room and then it was just Aizawa and Jesse in the room. They had a free period since their kids don't have them until later that day for hero course.
Jesse was upset about going too far on her new students, at least that what she thought. Aizawa called her name in a tired and monotone voice,"Hey Jesse that was pretty impressive, I've never seen someone do that on their first day on the job." She looked up to she his eyes turn to dull to a small hint of happiness. She smiled,"Thanks I hope I didn't go to far, my qurik tends to consume me when I get angry." Aizawa See's that she's a little upset and he goes back to a tired look. "She's so bold and upfront, but I guess this is what she ment by her quirk has its downfalls too towards her. Does it make her depressed?" He said to himself. "Hey why don't I show you around campus while we still have a free period?" He said with a serious and monotone voice. She goes to looking sad to back to a happy smile,"Sure, why not!" She was feeling sad but he made it all better, it seems like they are helping each other.
*Aizawa's POV* I noticed that she is looking a little upset, but why she was acting like a badass just a second ago. Is this what she meant by her qurik has its downfalls? Does it make her sad and depressed? I need to return the favor of cheering me up earlier, it's only logical. "Hey why don't I show you around campus while we still have a free period?" I hope that this will cheer her up, I don't like it when people are upset near me, especially if they are going to be working with me. She goes to looking sad to back to a happy smile,"Sure, why not!" I'm glad her frown went away, she looks a lot better smiling. We walk around the campus and I show her where all the bathrooms are and what classrooms their kids/students have. For example, Ectoplasm is the math teacher, Cementoss is the modern litature teacher. "My good friend from childhood is the English teacher, his name is Hizashi Yamada AKA Present Mic." She glowed up with excitement for some reason."Really? Oh wow Present Mic and you are my favorite hero's...I mean um..you still are." She turned bright red and started to figeting with her hands. She is a fan of me and Mic? I get why him but why me? Oh yeah they are a stealth hero and they started out as a underground hero. They definitely have guts to admit that to my face. I look at her with a intriguing look in my eye, she definitely is a very interesting person."No worries, I have a question for you." She looked at me with a shine in her eyes just like what Zashi does."Yes Aizawa?" Damnit why did they sound so innocent. "Why did you want to be a hero?" She went quiet, did I say something Wrong? "I'm I rather not say here, it's really private." I definitely struck a nerve damnit way to go Shota Aizawa. "Soo why are you a teacher? You are a well known hero and you could do much more than be here." I hope this saves us from this awkward conversation. "Oh well it was my dream to go here as a kid but I couldn't." "Why not?" "Well I was born in America and only a few years ago I just recently moved here to Japan." "Oh I see." So she's a American, no wonder she acts different than most people I've met. And she talks differently as well. "So since I couldn't be here as a kid, it was my dream to teach here one day. I now that it's actually happening, I'm a bit overwhelmed with so many emotions." So she's a good person at heart, most people took this job to get more attention from the media to grow more. I was convinced to take this job by Zashi but he really likes teaching and speaking to new people unlike me I don't like attention by the media let alone people I don't know. "Ah I see well I'm sure you will get more comfortable as you settle in, I'll do my best to help you out. But I'm not much of a people person, so you might want to ask Hizashi instead." Damnit why did I say that towards the end bit. "Aw but why would I ask someone I haven't met yet with something you suggested?" Damn she's got a point there. "And anyways I like talking to you, and it's imperative for us to get along because we are going to be working together. Right Aizawa?" She smiled at me when she said my name at the end. She is so sweet for a person that just met me, but I know she isn't faking it, because of how genuine they are."You're right, it's more logical that way huh." Why are you so nice to someone like me? "Yes there you go, it's more logical. Hm you say that too huh?" Wait what? "Hm? What do mean?" She smiled yet again,"I say logical this and logical that all the time. I'm guessing we are more alike than we know." Her smile is so cute, and she's so forward in speaking. "Maybe." I end that conversation, I don't know what to say to most of the things she says. It's so forward and abrupt I just freezes up, usually I do this to other people but with her she's doing it to me instead of the other way around. I have a feeling we are going to be good co-workers, usually I don't think like this but over the years Zashi has changed my way of thinking. I just don't show people my emotions of happiness unless it's Zashi. After a few moments of silence and walking to the next destination. "And this is the teachers lounge, it has really great coffee and you can take a nap in here and not be interupted." She starts giggling while looking at me. What did I say? "That's so cute, that you instantly talked about sleeping and getting coffee. You know there's more to the room than that silly Aizawa." What in the world is up with this girl? She just called me cute and then made a joke like it was nothing. "What do you mean by that?" I look at her with a rude look apparently because of how she reacts,"Well someone doesn't know how to take a joke, calm down Aizawa I was kidding." "No I.." "it's okay I'm sure in time you will laugh with me next time." She smiled at me again with a forgiving look. Why is she so nice and forgiving after I just acted rude. And she said I would laugh with her in time. But she doesn't even know me yet and she's so confident?! We move onto the next stop,"This is the teachers office area, your desk is.... Next to mine." Damnit are you serious!? We step inside and I see a few fellow teachers/hero's. She is lighting up like a Christmas tree. But what's so special about this room? "Is that Midnight and Cementos oh my.. goodness.. hey what's up fellow pro hero's and teachers!" They look up and see her glowing up and they get really confused. Damnit,"She's the new Hero course teacher." Their faces go to confused to instant smiles,"Oh well hi there I'm Midnight, but it seems you know that already." She says with a slight laugh. "And I'm cementos miss?" His deep voice ends with a question. "Oh I'm Jesse Cox but you can call me Jesse." "Well miss Jesse if you need anything we are here to help out a fellow pro hero and teacher." Jesse bowed hesitantly but why? Oh that's right she's from American and is new to Japan. Then suddenly the bell rings and in the hallway went to quiet to extremely loud with kids screaming like animals. "Ugh so loud." I pinch the top of my nose, and roll my eyes in annoyance. And suddenly I hear my nickname being called from the end of the hallway I instantly know who it is. "HEYYY SHOO OVER HERE!!!" i look towards the sound and then get instantly tackled by my best friend Hizashi Yamada. I'm on the ground groaning in pain because of how hard he tackled me. Ow my head hurts now.. I look up to see Jesse gasping in shock with her hand over mouth, and looking very concerned about what just happened. She's so weird....*
A few moments before:
*Jesse's POV*
The bell rings and I see that Aizawa hates loud sounds because of the kids screaming in the hallway. Then I hear someone scream,"HEYYY SHOO OVER HERE!!!" Who's sho? Then when me and Aizawa look that direction of where the voice was coming from he gets instantly tackled by a blonde haired man with a leather outfit. Omg I know who that is, I cover my mouth with my hand to stop me from fan girling over one of my favorite pro hero's. In fact both of my favorites are right in front of me. Eraserhead and Present Mic. I can't believe this is happening. Then suddenly I hear Aizawa groaning in pain, oh no is he okay. Im really worried now for him, he doesn't look like he's okay. "Aizawa are you okay?" The blonde haired man looked up at me while being on top of Aizawa like it's normal. "Hey Sho who's this beautiful lady here?" I can't help but blush, one of my favorite pro hero's just called me beautiful."I...um.." Shit I can't stop staring at them. Get your mind out of the gutter Jesse God! "I'm Jesse Cox also known as The Strategist. " I said that in a very confident voice. I hold out my hands for both of them,"Do you both need help getting up?" They both shake their heads and get up on their own. I look over to the other hero's and they weren't even paying attention, does that mean they do this often?"Um.." Damn I'm speechless, I can't speak correctly...*
*Overview*
The two hero's get up from the floor a then Aizawa hits his friend in the shoulder for being an ass."Ow Sho that hurt." He said with a sad look. "Well you deserved it." Aizawa said frowning. Jesse started to giggle when she saw this, they both look at her with confused looks."what's so funny?" "Yeah what?" "I..just..*can't contain laughter* you guys are such good friends and it's really adorable how you interact." She laughed a little bit longer and then stopped herself,"I'm sorry about that, I haven't laughed like that in so long." They look at her with confused looks yet again. Then her stomach growled, "oh no I forgot to eat lunch." She grabbed her stomach and then looked up at Present Mic and Aizawa. And then she smiled big with a idea in her head. "Hey Aizawa and Yamada why don't we go get lunch and get to know each other...um as teachers of course?!" Aizawa looked at Hizashi in a way saying,"Do you want to go?" Hizashi got all excited,"Sure Jesse come on Sho let's go!" He jumped up and down like a little kid. Aizawa sighed but really he was smiling on the inside.
They got lunch and then headed to the teacher's lounge. They all sat down and then started to eat their food. "So Jesse why did you want to be a hero?" Hizashi asked with a excited voice. Aizawa looked at him like he made a mistake."What did I do Sho?" "It's okay Aizawa don't worry it's only us here so it should be fine, but thanks for caring." Hizashi looked very confused about what he's missing. "Alright.." Aizawa said with his normal tired voice. She stopped eating and set down her food. She cleared her throat and looked at the both of them. Then when she was about to speak the door opened up behind them and a person walked in. Thankfully it was just Principal Nezu,"Oh Jesse, Aizawa and Hizashi, you are all here getting along I hope." He said with a smile. "Yeah we are but Hizashi asked why I wanted to be a hero.." Jesse said hesitantly. Nezu looks at her with a sad look. Then suddenly she stood up abruptly,"I'm sorry Hizashi and Aizawa I just can't say right now.. I-i-im..I just can't. I need to go to the restroom, if you would excuse me." She bowed hesitantly and then ran out of the door and bolted to the restroom... To be continued..
