Water, calming and transparent. The pleasure of being in it is inevitable. Having a habit of always being in water, it was no doubt that (Y/N) and Haruka would encounter each other. After middle school, (Y/N) had moved up to the local highchool. The highchool not having a working swimming pool, you had made a petition on cleaning it, reconstructing it and filling it with translucent water. Being from a very hard-working family, your parents supported this idea and landed you a handful of money. After having more than seventy signs on the petition, your work had started.
   The first step was to clear all the leaves and trash from the floor of the pool. Trash bags being filled and a pressure machine being constantly used by yourself. Every free time you had went to the pool reconstruction. Two days and the floor was clean. Next was the tiles, filling the cracks and waterproofing the pool again. At this point Tachibana Makoto had volunteered to help. Him helping you carrying the heavy things, the work got done faster than expected.
  After that, it was time for the lines. Tedious as it is, it was necessary. The lines finished, the pool filled and the last thing to do was...well, jump in! You and Makoto had your fair share of hard work; he invited his swimming "club" to come and join you guys. That's when you met him. His blue irises captivating your e/c orbs.
  Instinctively, when all of you arrived at the pool, you started taking your uniform off surprising everyone and making them look away. You gave a slight chuckle and jumped right into the pool. Yes, you did have your swim wear on. It's not weird, right? After they heard the splash they looked at you swimming free style on the newly renovated pool. Makoto and Nagisa let out a sigh of relief before they both headed to the lockers to get changed. Haruka just took off his uniform like you did.
  "Let's compete/race" (didn't know which term would be more appropriate) Haruka exclaimed once he reached where you were. You nodded as a response while seeing from the corner of your eyes that Rin smirked. "I'll be watching to see who's the winner" he said before you two got into position. "1!2!...3!" Rin exclaimed as you dove into the clear-blue water. Freedom. That's what it feels like. The water surrounding every inch of your body, the thrill of winning and your soft palm thrusting against the water. All of this comforting you and making you thrive for more.
  The last lap came and you both touched the wall and emerged from the water. Rin had a stunned expression while looking at you guys. "It was...a tie" he looked at Haru. Haruka seemed a bit surprised aswell. Rin helped you out of the pool and Makoto aswell as Nagisa had returned not long ago, also standing in shock. "That was amazing (Y/N)-san!" Nagisa exclaimed as he walked with you towards your backpack. You bent your knees and grabbed a towel out of the bag besides your school bag. Taking off the cap you had put on before jumping, you dried your body. "Thank you Nagisa" you responded with a smile. "It is getting kind of late for me to be outside. I will head home, but you guys can enjoy the pool until the school has to shut the gates." You said putting your uniform back on. " I'll walk you" a deep voice said from behind you. When you finished zipping up your skirt you looked at the person. "No, it's fine. Enjoy the pool." He looked at you with a stoic expression. " I don't accept a no for an answer" he said while swinging your backpack over his shoulder. "R-really you don't have to" you said trying to get your backpack. "Let's go" he said grabbing your hand in mid air, interlacing your slim, soft fingers with his.
  With flaming cheeks you obliged and continued to walk besides him. "Go get her tiger!" You heard one of the boys comment, which did not help to your situation. You shortly arrived at your house and you asked for your backpack. Haru's hand still on your he asked for you phone. You gave him a confused look and handed him your phone. He handed it back to you and started walking away. " Good night" was all he said. You were shooketh. Walking in and setting your backpack down, you unlocked your phone to come face to face with his number and name. HUH?!?!?! With the confusion still on you, you gained the courage to atleast text him a "goodnight to you too Haruka". He replied with a thanks. You went to your room, took a bath, finished school work and went to bed.
   Over the last month, you and Haruka had gotten closer. Hanging out on both of your houses. Eating mackerel and Pocky. Hanging out on the pool. Chilling with the "squad". It was fun. And by now, you had developed a slight (huge) crush on Haruka. Well, your not the only one who had a crush, that's for sure. You were in the class you had after lunch and received a message. Looking at the ID, you noticed it was from Haru. Opening it up it read "Meet me at the Cherry blossom tree besides the fountain. I need to tell u something". After reading it, it stayed on your mind until the dismissal bell rang. You packed your stuff quickly and dashed out of the classroom. Arriving breathless at the blossom tree, you noticed Haru waiting for your breathing to calm down. When your breathing finally normalized, he looked at you straight in the eyes and said "Will you be my Girlfriend?" After those words your breathing got caught and he looked away, waiting for the rejection to come. To his dismay, you staid silent. He looked up and your warm embrace consumed him. "Yes."
