A long time ago the baby of of our lord was born and she was named Hope because she was believed to give this sad world hope but on that exact day the baby of the devil was born and he was named Ashton because ash is always after the fire. The devil wanted more for his son so he sent him to the real world but our lord thought his daughter also needed a new start so he sent them both to America and that is where they lived, in America knowing of their backgrounds but never meeting each other until now.
