A Day After School

I come home after a long day of high school, and I start with my homework and my chores. My name is Kaila and I am 18 years old, I am a senior in high school and my mom and dad are divorced, while my mom stayed here in Texas, my dad moved all the way to Korea, because of his work and blah blah blah. 

I wish I could say that my relationship with my mom was good, but I can't say that because its pretty bad, she drinks a lot and she loves her late nights on the town, which is fine, but she always comes back drunk or high, I mean come on I'm the teen I should be doing that, but no its my mom. 

After I get done with my homework and cleaning the house, my mom makes me dinner and goes off for her daily partying, I go to my room and finally do what I like to do and that is drawing and listening to music. 

My mom doesn't know I have the gift of my dad, but she doesn't need to know that. I grab my sketchbook and my pencils I got from my dad for my 18th birthday and I started drawing small things, like flowers and little bugs, but then my music gave me an idea. I love EXO and their music is on point and it helps me through rough times, so I started drawing the album covers. 'Love Shot' the 5th album is  my favorite. My favorite song is Wait, its such a beautiful song and it helps me draw, everything I have drawn has been winter style. My friends at school ask me if I ever thought about photography, but I don't have the money for a good camera so drawing is how close I'm going to get to that. 

I was drawing for hours, I looked at my phone and I saw it was almost 9 PM. I need to get ready for bed, and study for a math test I have tomorrow. I get a shower and I go back to my desk and study for this stupid math test, I hate math so much and I have took this class three times and failed it, mom is getting mad at me, but I can't help it I study, and she doesn't understand that. 

I go to sleep and I had a very good dream, I don't know where I am everything is black, I hear a voice "I love you so much Kaila, don't leave me." "I won't leave you." I responded It was cold, but I was warm, like I was being hugged, I could smell a small scent of something and I heard the wind blow. I wake up when I felt the cold blast hit my back, I look at my phone in a sleepy daze and see that it is only midnight, and then I realize I fell asleep studying for this math test, I guess that's enough for me tonight, I put my phone on charge and I turn my lamp off and then I go into my bed, I get nice and warm and I drift back off to sleep once again.

My last thought was who was in my last dream and where was I? I guess if it was a story telling the future, I may know soon.

Short chapter right now, but I promise I will deliver! I have a big idea for this story so just hang with me for a few chapters, but I can tell you it will get better!
