🚑❄

As I lay on your chest,
Your arms hug and surround me like a nest,
Fear and worry became your guest,
As the darkness took over my rest.

You held me close,
As I had an overdose ,
I laid their in a cold breathless pose,
As I had turned into a dying rose.

I could feel your shaking fingers,
Run down my neck in search of a pulse that lingers,
Rekindled our touch with our entwining ringers,
Felt you gasp towards my cold fingers.

My organs curl up in a bunch,
My gaze was fading in as such,
The oxygen mask didn't revive me as much,
As my chest arose severally to an electric punch.

A beautiful world I had dared to enter,
A sight that held the center,
Over here I get at eased and much better,
As I wondered if I'd regret this later.

Voices broke my train of slumber,
As the medicine travelled it's way like a samba,
My windpipe felt heavy carrying a lumber,
As your screams created a number.

Your voice echoes throughout,
As I felt your tears create a fount,
Trailing down my cheek as they count,
Felt your hearts increasing pace with no doubt.

I felt cold,
But your warmth kept me at hold,
As I leave this world,
I'm sorry I said we'd grow old.
