You removed the bandages from around his mouth, you could still see the bruises
"Open" you put the ramen in his mouth
"Mmf" he cringed as he was chewing the noodles
When he swallowed, a tear went down his eye
"Maybe I should give you something softer to eat
"Y-Yeah-- AH OW" He flinched back in pain
You pulled out rice balls and grabbed one
"You like these?" You held one up to him, he eyes looked shiny like he hadn't eaten in days
"I haven't eaten since I got my bandages" his eyes stared at the rice ball
"Shota! It's been 2 weeks!" You pulled back the cloth on his torso only to see he was thin as fuck
You immediately gave him the rice ball and he scarfed it down, you put soy sauce on one and fed it to him
You ate two and gave him two, in a pattern until they were gone
You saw his gums were even bruised
"Shota, I've been wondering, are we--- official" You hesitated
He kissed you on the cheek
"If you want to be~" he purred in your ear
"Yes, I-I do" your face turned red as he did something sorta like a smile
"Well, would you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!" You hugged him but he hissed in pain
"I-Im sorry" you backed away but he wrapped his bandaged arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him and you put the bandages back
"It's okay, when I recover- do you still have that piece of paper I gave you?"
"Yeah, it had an address on it" you buried your face in his chest
"Go to that address the day I get my bandages removed~" He smiled
"O-Okay" you thought of what was next to come
"I thought we were official when we went on that date..." you murmured
"I guess we were" you could tell his face was red under those bandages
