Chapter 26

(Luke's Pov)

"You know what Luke" Ashely asked me

"What?" I asked quite curious to find out what she was thinking.

"I Love You" she told me. I stared at her my mouth agape.

"W-what? Did i hear you right? You said you love me?" I said still in shock

"Um yea" she said covering he face. I couldn't stop smiling. I uncovered her face and kissed her. I couldn't stop myself. We broke up, and i never thought i would be able to kiss her again but here we are now. I pulled away and pulled her out of her room. Everyone was in the living room waiting.

"Do you want me to explain?" I asked her, she nodded.

" guy I'm going to tell you why we took so long okay" the 6 of them nodded (the girls are still there)

" well we bumped into each other when she was starting to walk back here. We where walking when she got a phone call from her mom. And well-"

"My dad is in critical condition. He got into a car crash" she cut me off

"Oh my god" Calum said running up to her.

"Are you okay? Do you need anything from us?" She shook her head

"No, just hugs" she smiled slightly, everyone got up and ran to her, we where all packed together when Ashely's phone rang again

"Do you want me to get it?" I asked, she nodded. I picked up the phone and sure enough it was her mom. I walked into another room and answered the phone only to hear sobs.

"Ashely h-he's gone" her mom cried out

"He's in a better place now Mrs. Tomson, by the way its Luke"

"Aw Luke darling please keep Ash happy, and tell her slowly and carefully" her sobbing stopped as she talked

"Yes will do"

"I'll be home in at least 2 days i have to go talk to family members that live around"

"Okay i'll tell her that too. Oh and Mrs. Tomson?" I asked

"Yes sweety"

"I'll do everything i can to make her happy"

"Good job son" with that i hung up and walked in the Living room. I was straight to Ashely despite the stares. I just kept walking until i wrapped her in my arms. She started to silently cry into my chest. I slowly walked her back to her room laid her down on her bed. I started to walk towards the door

"No Luke please stay" she wined. I mumbled a slight okay and laid next to her.

"Thank you" She said out of the blue before her breathing slowed and she soon feel asleep me following shortly after.
