In this story there are 4 kingdoms. In a common deck of cards, the cards are separated into 'suits'. That means separated by symbols. So the suits are as follows:

Aces are guardians. The 2 trouble makers are Big Joker and Little Joker. They get in the way of the 4 friends' mission of bringing their kingdoms together. Also they are outcasts and wanted criminals.
