~Shadow's Pov~ (still)

We pulled away blushing madly.

"S-sorry..." I whispered.

"I-its okay..." sonic nervously replied. "I better s-see who's at the door." sonic stood up and opened the door.

"Hello, my star! Are you ready for your next show!" This weird mobian with ring patterns on its ears, tail, arms, and legs entered into his home.

"O-oh! I completely forgot about the show tonight! Thank you midnight." sonic went to the kitchen and opened up a compartment and took out a blue and red microphone.

"Why his this mobian here?" I asked.

"Oh! This is my manager, Midnight the Umbreon. I'm a secret singer known as 'the dark sound'." He told me while cleaning the mic.

"Why don't you invite your friends sonic?" asked midnight.

"O-oh i... I couldn't." sonic looked away shyly

"and why is that?" I asked.

"I get loaded with questions." He laughed. "but I'll invite them."

"Great now everything is set your on in ten get ready!" Midnight walked out of the house.

"Shadow go and get your seat quick!" sonic ran to the woods. when I get there I see tons of people already in seats. I sit down near sonic's friends.

"Hello, shadow!" The fox-boy, named tails, said in a cheery voice. I hmphed at them and laid back in the chair and waited for the show to start.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" the Umbreon fellow walked ut from behind the curtains. "Kids of all ages! Welcome to the show! We have everybody's favorite singer, The Dark Sound!!" I see Sonic walks out from the curtains with the same microphone, along with a black cloak over him.

"Good evening everyone! let's get the show on the road!" sonic pointed up to the sky and music started playing.

"You know the bed feels warmer

Sleeping here alone" I gasp silently at his voice. It was like an angel.

"You know I dream in color

But told you I was moving on over you" I then realize that he's talking about his virus.

When I'm alone" Sonic then picked up his cloak while everybody was clapping.
"Thank you everyone! Tonight there will be no VIP." Said the Umbreon as he walked off stage.
"Hey, guys!" Said sonic to his friends and me.
"Sonic we didn't know you're a star!" said the twin-tailed fox as he hugged his adoptive older brother. They all talked and bombarded him with praise for a good 20 minutes. Once they left sonic sat down in a chair and sighed in relief.
"I thought they would never leave!" sonic breathed out. I chuckled and helped him up and to his home. "Shadow why don't you stay over?"
"And why exactly?" I asked teasingly.
"You said you wanted to keep an eye on me with my... you know, so..." sonic started to fidget, probably regretting telling me and getting embarrassed.
"Sure, I don't see why not." I shrugged and laid down on the couch.
"Shadow don't! I'll take the couch you take the bed." sonic is far too considerate for his own good sometimes.
"It's fine sonic. This is your house and I'm only staying to keep an eye on you so it's okay." I tried to tell him I was okay but it looked like he was gonna start a fit like a two-year-old when they have a tantrum. It was almost too cute to see him like this. "How about this. We both get the bed, one side for each other."
"Y-you mean sleep together!?"
"I-I wasn't saying like that! But I guess it is what I was trying to say..." I blushed and looked away. Why am I having these weird feeling in the pit of my stomach and heart?
"O-okay... L-lets head to b-bed." Sonic led me to his room. He was also blushing. Maybe he was still embarrassed about earlier.
"G-goodnight..." sonic got on his side and I got on mine. Our backs were facing each other and we both slowly drifted off to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night since I didn't need that much sleep as a normal mobian. I looked at the calendar and my eyes widened. Tomorrow was the first day of spring.
