~shadow's pov~
Sonic started to cry and curl up into a ball. Teachers looked worried and the kids were still crying slightly. I couldn't take it to see him like that. ran out from backstage and hugged him tightly.
¨S-shadow?¨ he asked still crying.
¨Shh Shh don't talk take a second to calm down ok?¨ He nodded and took deep breaths.
"Thanks, shads," he said and kissed my cheek. I blushed and smiled.
"You ready to continue?" I asked him letting to from our hug. He nodded and wiped away the few remaining tears from his eyes and smiled.
"Let's continue, sorry about that everyone," he said and I walked down to where the teachers were standing. Music started to play and I could tell it was a nice song by the beat.
"Times like this, I wish I never existed
Nobody wants to listen
I'm screaming out for help

And open up a window, free to be myself" He frowned lightly yet still that shining glimmer in his eyes.

"How does it feel to know that I don't care at all?

Of more than you will ever know (ahh)"  He looked ou to the sea of kids and grabbed something from his quills.

"Times like this, I'm picking up the pieces
I'm making up the reasons

I just wanna move on, and stand up on my own" He turned around and wings appeared from his back.

"I remember getting teased as a kid

But it was all the same, I was feeling rejected
Putting someone down that's a low blow

Now I'm unbreakable" he finished with a pose on stage. Everyone stood up and clapped for his preformance. I almost ran up to him and hugged him, but i have to hold my emotions back even if i dont want to. I...I think i am in love with him.
"Thank you everybody and have a good day!" he walked backstage and i fallowed him. When i saw him his friends were talking to him.
"I didn't know you had wings sonic." I said to him.
"Niether did we!" said the fox.
"Another secret i have." he told us and smiled. He went up to me and hugged me. "Thank you shadow for helping me back there along with everything you've done for me." I smiled and hugged back.
"Your welcome sonic anything to help you," I said and we let go of the hug. Ow, how about we go home and relax for a while?" he nodded and told midnight that was going. He came back and we ran off back to his home.

~sonic's pov~ (finally!)

He all left our separate ways except me and shadow went into my house and we sat down on the couch.
"That took forever I'm so glad I'm home." I sighed and shadow nodded. "Hey shads?"
"Yes?" he asked.
"You haven't been yourself lately."
"Why do you say that?"
"Well I know you're being nicer to me and everything but your even softer than normal." his cheeks flared up and looked away. Does he like me? This could be my chance to tell him.
"I...i don't know what you are talking about," he said in a shy tone. He's so cute
"Shadow."
"Y-yes?" he looked at me.
"I...i want to tell you something... promise me this won't ruin our friendship?" I teared up lightly.
"Of course it won't tell me what is wrong?" he asked me concerned. I smiled.
"I...i l-love...y-you s-shadow." I closed my eyes tightly waiting for him to reject.
"I love you too sonic." I opened my eyes wide.
"Y-you do?" I started to cry happily.
"Yes. let me show you," he said and he kissed me passionately. I smiled and kissed back with just as much passion."
