After I finish my beer I go and look for Sapphire.
I look everywhere on the first floor and when I can't find her I start heading up stairs.
That's when I hear her voice and I start to calm down.
I didn't even realize I was starting to panic a bit.
"...made a mistake. I never should have broken up with you. I love you, Sapph"
"You love her, huh?"
I didn't even realize I started speaking.
Sapphire turns to me with a mix of hurt and confusion in her eyes.
"Of course I love her. We were together for 3 years. That just doesn't go away".
"We'll it didn't seem like you loved her in the first place from what I heard".
"Fuck you! You don't know me and anything about me".
"No. You are probably right. But I do know what guys like you are like."
Sapphire steps close to me.
"What are you doing?" She whispers.
"Oh yeah? And how are guys like me like?"
"Guys like you are a cheating, no good, asshole".
Sapphire gasps but I just ignore her and glare at the asshole in front of me.
Then he runs up to me and punches me square in the jaw.
Man that hurt.
I shake my head then I go at him.
I don't even know why I am so angry with him. I just can't stand guys like him.
I start pounding on him. He try's to get another punch in but I dodge everytime.
I faintly hear Sapphire screaming but all I care about is making this ass feel pain.
"STOP!!" She screams.
I finally stop and look down. He's all bloodied and barely conscious.
What have I just done?
