My phone has been going off for the past hour and a half.
It goes off again so I go to pick it up.
It's Taveon.
Why is he calling me so much?
"Hello? What's going on man?"
"Sapphire is in the hospital!"
"Wait what?!"
"She got hit by a car. It's not good man".
"Okay. I'm on my way now".
I hang up the phone and start heading out to my car.
Courtney is right outside and I almost run into her.
"Hey baby. What's up? Where are you off to in such a hurry?"
"Sapphire is in the hospital. I have to go check on her".
"What? Are you kidding me? You are going to go see your ex girlfriend? You did break up with her right?"
"Come on Court. She is hurt pretty bad I have to go check on her. You understand don't you".
"Fine whatever. But I'm coming with you".
"Okay. Let's go then".
We get into my car and hurry off to the hospital.
As soon as we get there I see the twins.
"Jaydon, Taveon. How is she? She is okay right?"
"She is hanging in there. She is unconscious right now and really banged up. But she's alive".
"What is she doing here?" Jaydon says glaring at Courtney.
"She is here with me".
"I am his fiance".
Both the twins look at me in complete shock but don't say a word.
"Can I see her?"
"She's not allowed visitors. They are running test and everything to see if she has any internal bleeding and find out everything that is wrong with her".
"Is she going to be okay?"
"Yeah. If I know my best friend, and I do. Then she is definitely going to pull through with this. She is one of the strongest girls I know".
"Baby why don't we leave. She can't have visitors anyway. We can come back later".
"Yeah. Okay. I guess you are right. You'll let me know when she is allowed visitors and if she wakes up?" I turn to Taveon as I ask that.
"Yeah. Definitely man. I'll see you later".
"Okay bye guys. Keep me updated".
"Bye" they say in unison.
I really feel like I should just stay and wait with them but that will just make me stress even more about the situation.
How did she get hit anyways? Was it her fault or the other driver?
I want to know but I don't know how to find out right now.
I guess I'll just go home and wait then.
Hopefully she'll be okay.
I can't lose her like this.
