"I'm going to die" I admitted looking down at the ground hundreds of feet below me. Loyal activity for the day was sky lifting and I was praying her stomach was too big to put the seat belt around.

"Ready to go" The guy shouted giving the signal to start the ski lift

"Yeah yeah I was overreacting" I waved him off grabbing Loyal hand "Have a nice day"
"You too and make sure the lady is hydrated for the Queen Staircase. It's no joke"
"You guys ready or need a couple more minutes" Ashlyn, our tour guide, questioned twisting the cap of her water bottle back on
"Is there like a short cut or way to go around the Queen Staircase?"
"Sorry but that's the only way back to the boat. But you can go at your own pace I'm not in a rush"

"By the time I reach the top Haven will be three" Loyal huffed kicking the nearby rocks

Staring ahead of me my mouth fell open in shock. I thought she was joking but she was serious about the staircase having sixty-six steps.

Walking the pier the sun beamed on us. With my arm wrapped around Loyal shoulder, I ran my hand through her hair
