The World Reversed

I wanted to make a fanfic about how MC and Julian finds their friends, and fix the world, but I couldn't give up the two endings I have come up with.

The reversed ending is much easier to think of, and much shorter to write (cuz I don't want to write too much detail, it pains me to make this story...).

I'm sure in an ultimate bad ending, Julian will either kill MC by accident, or leave them one day. He won't leave until he's sure they are safe though! So leaving them at Asra's seems like the most possible outcome. If I was to make the ending really tragic, I'd imagine Asra would wipe out MC's memories of everything else, and made them stay like Asra's reversed end. Maybe Devil will find it boring and toss Julian into their oasis one day, and maybe they'll kill him or unbind him. Whatever it might be, MC wouldn't remember Julian.

Talking about Asra, he certainly has his dark side. He helped Lucio, knowing what kind of man he is. In one paid scene, He doesn't mind hurting Julian, and it almost feels like he had leash out his frustrations on Julian. Asra told Julian "I can't give you everything you want.", and laughs when Julian says "I'll take what I can get." Shows me his obsession for MC, and his cruel side.

I do still wish to give it a hopeful ending. After all, the reason I write this fanfic is to cure my broken heart after Julian's reversed end 💔.

So in this story, MC broke Asra's deal and return the body to Fool. They further offer everything they have to make Asra's ritual to revive them impossible. So the time rewind to where he was napping, possibly negotiating with an Arcana.

Julian gives up easy, but Asra doesn't. I believe Julian will be upset that MC is gone, but won't do anything about it.

As for Asra, he would search the world and do anything to bring MC back. He probably killed other people that associate to the major Arcanas as sacrifice for the ritual. MC basically merged with the Fool, and does not exist in the beginning. So I guess the only way to do it is the classic the end the world thing, and start a new one, hopefully their soul would appear sometime.

So at the end, Asra becomes part of Magician, and Julian part of Hanged Man. The three of them in the new world doesn't necessary have to be the original them. It could be, if the old Magician was in fact the other Asra, and was removed when the world resets. The endless cycle that kind of thing...you know...

Anyways, thank you again for reading! I'll try to work on my other fanfic as much as possible, and give it a good ending.
