Strangers

Kayleigh woke up to the warm sunlight in her face... and the smell of omelettes.
"Is your mom making omelettes...?" She stirred.
Lucas was also just waking up, but Claus was wide awake.
"Yep! Cmon! Marcia's already down there!"
Kayleigh spring up out of bed while Lucas took his time. The three soon ran down the stairs.
"Good morning sleepyheads." Hinawa said kindly with a smile, as she set three more omelettes on three plates.
"Yum!" Claus ran over and sat down so fast, his chair started to skid.
"Chill..."
"You're the one who needs to chill, Kayleigh."
She held up a reverse card to Claus. He snickered.
"Where'd ya get that?"
"From my uno deck at home. Thought I may need it for people like you."
"Heh... alright... but I'll come up with something better."
"Yeah, right."
They both started to laugh. Lucas shook his head in disappointment with a smile.
"You two never take a break, do you?"
  They both shot their heads up. "Nope!" And laughed again. Seemed like the whole world was a joke. That was until they finished breakfast... a storm suddenly came on. Marcia jumped out of her chair.
"Wh-what's that?"
"That's thunder, Marcia." Claus replied.
"Oh, so like the thunder tower."
"I- guess...?"
Kayleigh sighed. "Guess we can't play outside, huh?"
"Sadly..." Lucas replied.
  The four stared out the window as a white and purple glow filled the void of air outside.
"What's that?" Kayleigh pointed to the sky. Lucas turned to her.
"No idea, Kay."
  Then, 7 kids fell from the sky. They could only see the shadows of what looked like 2 girls and 5 boys...
  One boy, with a red bandana, hat, and striped shirt with shorts got up on his knees.
"What happened...? Are you okay Lloyd and Ana?!"
"Yes... were fine..." Ana sighed as she got up. Lloyd moves closer to the boy.
  The four ran out as the other four stood up, a boy in a hat, a striped shirt, and a backpack helped the girl up who looked similar to the one named Ana, just without pigtails. Kayleigh stared in shock.
"Wh-who are you...?" Marcia stuttered.
"Ness...?"
"Lucas...?"
Their faces lit up as they ran to hug each other.
"I'm so happy to see you again, Luke!"
"Me too!"
Claus looked confused. "You know him?"
"Yep! We were in a fighting tournament together!"
"Ohhh I think I remember you saying something like that..."
the other boy who looked like Ness and his crew stood up.
"You look like me..."
"Huh... coincidence...?"
"I-I don't know..."
Claus popped in. "It's kinda scary."
The boy in the scarf looked up again.
"Who are you guys?"
