Well where do I begin? The past couple of months have been a roller coaster since I first started writing this story back in late May, early June of last year. Of course, there were several interruptions with this story like my trip to Egypt, and me moving to Florida and starting at a new school there but hey, I finally completed my very first story here.
If any of you guys are wondering how I even came up with this whole story, it's a long one indeed. Up until a year ago, I had heard of ABBA but I wasn't really into their music until me and my dad (also named Christian, coincidentally), were watching an ABBA documentary one night on a TV channel whose name I forgot because the channel itself is in the 1000s somewhere in our cable box. But either way, the channel itself was having some sort of marathon about popular musicians from the 70s and up until that point, the channel had been screening several documentaries about The Bee Gees and Saturday Night Fever.
And then came the ABBA documentary that my dad and I watched together: When All is Said and Done. The documentary itself was pretty bad, but at least I got to learn more about ABBA and about the girls in particular. I was particularly drawn to Agnetha, the blonde one, as she was my dad's favorite member of ABBA ever since he first came to America from Ecuador during the very wonderful yet bittersweet ABBA year of 1978. And from there, I became and ABBA fan and a Bjornetha stan in particular.
And then a couple months later, on the day, I started writing this story, I was at the gym working out. And as I was completing my workout, I kept thinking "what if?," when it came to Agnetha and Björn's relationship over the past 4o years and counting. And then I randomly and spontaneously came up with this story and as for the destination, I just picked Dubai at random. I've never even been to Dubai so I had to rely on research when it came to the places they visited in the story. And I do remember hearing that Björn took his entire family on a trip to Sri Lanka or something like that.
Anyways, thanks for all the reads, votes, and comments on this story so far. Thanks to all of you for getting my story and my presence here on the fandom to where it is. I wouldn't know what to do without all of you.
