It's Saturday today so there's no classes. All alone in her room, curled in her bed, Sherla is still thinking about what Jefferson Alivian said. What should she do?

*FLASHBACK*

"I'm afraid it would be pointless. You.. have already absorbed all of its power. You can't do anything now."

It becomes silent for a while.

.....

"Actually, when we were still in class, the power was still sealed inside the necklace. But when you were controlled by your fear, all the powers of the necklace went inside you." He says.

"Then what should I do now?" Sherla asks while looking down, her expression filled with sadness.

"I have thought of two paths you could take. Still live your life as usual, then die eventually, or...." he pauses for a second and looks directly at Sherla's eyes.

"Or?" Suddenly, Sherla becomes anxious because of his stare.

"...or you could join us." He says. Either options, Sherla is still gonna deal with Kurins.

"I-i don't know. Let me think about it." Sherla says and makes a curled position while sitting on the bed.

"Okay. Just call me when you've got the answer. I saved my phone number in your phone." He says with a grin. "See ya!" Those are his last words before he goes out through the window.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

All of the thinking made Sherla's tummy grumble, making her shake her head. She totally forgot that she didn't eat since yesterday night.

Sherla goes out of her room and cooks egg and rice. She was always alone in this house since her parents died. Her mother and father suddenly comes to mind. A black-haired woman up to her neck only, same as Sherla's, smiling beautifully- it was her mom. Then a violet-haired man, his hair is sleeked back, he smiles so widely that it would almost reach his ears.

Sherla waits for the food to be cooked and finally, she eats

While she is chewing and grinding her food, Sherla sees a lizard aiming for a bug not so far. Both are sticking on the peach walls of the house. Slowly, the bug moves, not knowing that the lizard is following it.

The lizard rapidly crawls towards the bug and there, it eats the bug with no mercy. The bug can't budge anymore, totally killed by the lizard.

Sherla sighs. "What a pity. If only bugs could protect themselves." Her eyes grew big from what she said. That's it! It's just like her. She should learn to protect herself from lizards- oh, Kurins! Now, she has an answer!

----

She pulls the charger out from her phone. Good thing Jefferson charged it.

She calls Alivian. After a few rings, he finally answers. "Yes? Got an answer now?" He says from the other line.

"Yup. I want to protect myself." Excitement is coating her voice.

"Does that mean..?"

"Just what you think. I'm joining you guys!" She says.

"Okay, that's great! Meet me at the train station at 11:00. I'll introduce you to my Dad." He says and he cut off the call. Oh-kay. Sherla just realized. Th-that was the first phone call she did with a boy. She turns red.

She looks at the clock and it is still 9:00 a.m.. Whew, it's not the time to think about freaking phone calls. She starts to get ready.

Her life is gonna change. It ain't gonna be boring anymore. In the contrary, it will be thrilling. She thoughts to herself, making her smirk.
