A familiar drifting feeling grew strong, cutting a nonsensical vision short. (Y/n) slowly woke up in a tangled mess of covers and arms. For a minute she was confused, before remembering the confessions last night. A nice warm feeling rose through her body and encouraged her to move, to awaken completely, to live. Before doing so, she pushed the blankets out from her face; facing the bright sun and a pair of warm red eyes.

"Good morning~" Fukase hummed softly. He pleasantly smiled, which increased the happy warm feeling. She was definitely blushing at this point.

"Good morning Fukase." (Y/n) mumbled back, still stuck with her groggy morning voice. He giggled and slowly brought his arms out from around her. His hands drifted to hers, which lay between them. They united with the simple curl of slow fingers.

"If it's not too much... I'd like to spend the entire day with you. I need to be with you." The boy requested as he gently squeezed her hands. His insides overflowed with a warm, sticky, honey-like emotion he couldn't get enough of. All of his admiration could finally be given to the one he loves; (Y/n). If he wasn't obsessed with her before, he definitely is now.

"Of course; after last night, I don't feel as alone anymore." She admitted. "I don't have a lot of friends, so being this close to you is..." Her words trailed away, before finally finding the proper word. "It's euphoric. Thank you for loving me." The honesty of her own statement stung herself but made Fukase feel bubbly inside. Euphoria... because of me? He shook, feeling himself warm up.

"I'm so glad we both feel the same way about that." Was all he could reply with.

Fukase acted like he was attached to (Y/n)'s hip the whole day. He hovered around her, always taking any opportunity to hold her hand; under the table at lunch, as they were walking up the stairs, and when they went outside. (Y/n) was quickly flattered, easily blushing at the brush of their skin. She did like the attention, but planned revenge on him soon.

The next day, Fukase woke up to (Y/n) still next to him. He smiled and shook her shoulder.

"You didn't tell me you didn't have school today!" The boy beamed. (Y/n) mumbled an apology, but knew he just wanted to wake her up. He smiled again when he realized something.

"You- I have someone to introduce you to!"

"Eh? Who?" She asked, intrigued.

"You've heard of Flower, right?"

Barely an hour later, the couple walked down the street, hand in hand. Fukase talked in detail about Flower and where they both came from, much to (Y/n)'s fascination. He described the endless interior of the editor where they stayed, how they sang, and the process he used to travel between computers.

"The internet is like... those roller coasters. It's fast, and after you're done switching places, you're thrown into another dark place. Your body feels like it doesn't exist, but really, you're just flying through signals!" He raved.

"That's awesome! But..." The excitement in her voice toned down, "Where were you before all of that?"

"Oh, that place..." His footsteps slowed as memories leaked into his conscious mind. "I don't want to talk about it too much, but I think I was made there." Fukase's first memory shot through his mind. It was hazy, but he remembered being held down to a table by tight hands. Somebody loomed over him and dug into his chest, before slipping something inside. Terrible pain shot through him as they closed the opening they made.

"All of these parts weren't born in my body, right?" He brushed his free hand against the left side of his face. (Y/n) frowned and wished she didn't ask.

"Whatever happened over there doesn't matter now, right? Like you said, you've escaped." She noted. Fukase glanced back at her and nodded.

"Yeah!" A small smile returned to both of their faces. Their hands held each other tighter and the vocaloid softly hummed an oddly familiar tune.

"Hey, you know I want payback for yesterday, right?" Fukase barely turned his head before felt lips gently kiss his left cheek. His skin quickly heated up as (Y/n) pulled away, who proudly winked an (e/c) eye. He sputtered, failing to say what sentence he conjured beforehand.

"Oh, you brought her with you?" A tomboyish voice cut the sweet moment short. They didn't notice they already reached the park, where Flower waited for them against a tree. She wore her normal clothing this time.

"Yea! This is (Y/n)!!" He introduced her carefully, his hand obtaining a tighter grip on hers. (Y/n) awkwardly waved, not knowing what to say.

"Hey." The other Vocaloid waved in return, keeping things casual. "I think I found someone else. Someone who also left a computer." She smoothly continued.

"Another?..." (Y/n)'s mouth went agape. "That's a weird coincidence." Fukase remained silent and listened with a wide normal eye.

"I saw him when Gho-... my friend and I went to this chinese place. Pure white hair isn't common, neither is his accent. His English was terrible too." Everybody nodded in agreement.

"Could we find him again?" Fukase droned, trying to sound interested in the conversation. Why was he wasting his time with this again? None of this matters.

"Maybe?" Flower shrugged. "I'll try."

"Anyway..." He turned the conversation to a different, yet equally useless subject. "Why is weather so intense? It's nothing like it is in music."

After about an hour of talking, they were ready to leave. (Y/n) was worn out from listening to deep conversations about seemingly unimportant subjects. But, they didn't understand those things, so why complain?

Fukase ran off after his hat, which flew away in the wind again. (Y/n) was going to help him, but was held back. Flower tapped on her shoulder, and when she turned around, she saw the worried expression drawn across her pale face. She stayed put.

"Hey... please be very careful. I don't think it's a good idea for Fukase to stay with you." She whispered beneath the wind.

"Why?" (Y/n) questioned.

"When he talked about you a few days ago, he did admit he likes you, but..." Her breath wavered, "... he'd go to extremes to keep you to himself. It's creepy as fuck. Please be careful. I care about him, but you're more important right now." Flower put a hand on her shoulder. Their wide eyes made contact for only a few seconds as their expressions mirrored.

"... Thank you." (Y/n) breathed. "I'll keep that in mind, but that doesn't sound like him."

"He sounded like a different person when he told me what he'd do to-" Her words cut off as Fukase ran back over, hat brim tight in his fist. Flower quickly took her arm back and hid it behind her back.

"Isn't lunch soon (Y/n)? We should go!" He grasped her other hand as he jabbered. "See you in a few days Flower!" Fukase led her to the sidewalk and disregarded Flower, who watched with a concerned gaze.
