Chapter 4 : Morning Run

Sam's POV

The big day is finally here!! My awesome plan will be executed today! I have prepared everything since I got home yesterday the only thing that's  missing is a short shorts for my morning run.

Yup, I'm  Samuel Tsui the awesome YouTube singer and undeniably  handsome guy will sacrifice my beauty sleep so I can meet Samantha Evans earlier and messing with my super talented best friend Kurt Schneider whose heart was still broken and confuse at the same time.

I've been looking for a short shorts for hours and all I get was a neon green short shorts. I tried it on and I think it will suit Kurt  best, but since I was too lazy to run to a store to buy a shorts, so I ended wearing the neon green short shorts.

I was planning to run to Kurt's apartment as a warm up. But then I decided not to because I don't want to ruin my hair.

I'm in my car on my way to Kurt's apartment and every time my car stopped at the red light, drivers next to me giving me a weird look soon as they saw my red headband. You can't blame me for trying to look like a professional morning runner to impress a girl. And for the record I saw a runner who ran with headband on - ran faster than the other, so I assume that headband do have some kind of power to make a runner run faster and look ten times more charming.

Soon as I arrived at Kurt's apartment, I jogged to his room and knock his door, well I practically banging and kicking his door. He'll kill me when he saw a stain from my shoes on his door. 5 minutes of soft knocking, kicking, and yelling his name he finally open the door with a huge frown and bag under his eyes. Now I can see the huge impact of Variana’s leaving or late night editing, I don't know I can't tell the difference.

As I entered his apartment, Kurt give me a weird look as he looked at me from my head to toe

“What’s up with that clothes?” he asked

“ Done checking me out?  We’re going on a run. Go brush your teeth and change your clothes! Chop chop!!” I said

“ what’s wrong with you?”

“ Can you not asking me any question cause we’re in hurry! And I’ll tell you on our way to the park!”

Its a good thing that he decide to go with what I said than argue with me and wasting my precious time with Samantha. 10 minutes later Kurt came out with well... preety appropriate clothes for running, well I still look way more handsome at this point.

“ That’s better! Now come on! And we’re not taking the car. We run!” I gave him my silliest grin that I always gave him when I made him do something he hate.

This is going to be an amazing  day.

We arrived at the park and the first thing I do is catch my breath. Who knows that such a short run requires a lot of air? As my breath come steady, I looked around to find Samantha. Kurt must’ve notice my weird gestures and he looked at me like I was some kind of weirdo

“ Looking for someone?” he asked.

“ Yes. Looking for someone who made us dress like this and running in the park at this hour.”

“ Who?” I sighed and stop looking.

“ This girl she...” before I get to finish what I’m about to say, Kurt cut me.

“ You made me wore this ridiculous outfit and running in the park for a girl?” I grinned and he stared at me in disbelief for a second before he began to walk away. Clearly he didn’t like the idea of being woken up just to help me find my girl.

“ Come on Kurt, I help you with Vari. Why won’t you help me?” I gave him my best puppy eyes that sure is never work on him.

“ Help me with what? You didn’t make me tell her that I like her... “ My eyes widened  soon as Kurt said that, well buddy, prepare for the best day of your life!
