"What? Wh-who are you?" I hesitantly asked as I shook in fear. How did it know who I was? "I am your-" then I felt the lights come back on. I squinted my eyes, everything was back to normal! I sighed heavily to release any current fright that crawled inside of me. Was I hallucinating? This was the second time I felt a strange presence. It felt so real. I might be hallucinating but immediately shook off the uneasiness that remained inside me. It must be my hallucinations, maybe I am just tired so I should take rest really , I thought to myself. I cleaned myself and went to bed. I closed my eyes and let my
subconsciousness take over...I looked around in an empty black room. There was nothing but a void of darkness in every direction. I wasn't in ease at this point, my nerve gradually taking control of me. I can't see anything. Just an endless run of black nothingness. That was until a white figure appeared in the distance. I sped towards it in the fastest speed possible. Then, I started making out the figure of the light. It was resembling...
My eyes blinked open. It was the start of another day, another tedious school day. The normal routine repeated itself again; wake up, study, sleep. This continued for a few days, except each day excites me to what awaits; a new adventure to look forward to.
The final alarm rang. It was a noisy and awfully distracting alarm, but today the alarm's melody rang and it pleased my ears for the first time ever. It was today, now or never. I packed up instantly and gathered all the supplies in my checklist. As soon as I was ready, I hurried myself to our destination of meet-up. I felt the adrenaline flow through my body as every step brought me closer to the unknown.
Tick, tick, tick. My watch ticked to the beat. Each tick drew me closer to the trip of a lifetime. My friends began arriving, one by one. We booked the ship we needed and loaded our cargo. "This is getting exciting!" Marco giggled. We all joined Marco to laughter and we eventually stopped as we were interrupted by our ride being called out. We rushed inside and had our tickets punched, which means there is no turning back. Thomas paid for our ride, which meant we owed him part of our wallet money. I sighed deeply and looked at the ceiling of our ship as the crew explained the usual instructions for a safe journey. I closed my eyes as I felt Jenny pat my back. "It's going to be alright, " she comforted. I don't know what I would do if Jenny wasn't there! She knows how to comfort me in all ways. Then, the ship began its journey.
