"Of course I'll be back. I'll be sure to come back here, back for you, O the only god in my life. I will definitely return to fulfil my promise to be with you forever."
After all the drama of parting between Azalea and Alan, also with his three warriors- Kyo, Kija, and Raiko -, Azalea finally descend to earth.
His heart was broken to pieces seeing the earth's condition. The earth that he loved so much and he had protected for hundreds of thousands of years. Seeing the turmoil in front of his eyes, he was determined to restore the earth's state as before, promising to bring peace and harmony in the humans' lives.
It took more than ten years for Azalea, the human, to take care of everything. Thanks to the assistance of his three warriors up there, fires, natural disasters, poverty, hunger and drought have been overcome. With the power he gained from Alan, he could cure the diseases suffered by humans. Slowly but surely, everything returned to normal.
Humans return to a healthy life, free from various deadly diseases, hunger, and poverty. They even live in a much better condition than before. Azalea was happy with that, but he forgot one thing. Earth provides enough to satisfy every human's needs, but not every human's greed. Greed pollutes the human soul. As a result, they disregard everything and sacrifices all moral traits for wealth beyond what is needed.
Then what happened after that, the same as what was written in the Tsutsuji Book. The humans think that Azalea is a weak person who can be made a slave, can be ordered at will. Forgetting that it was Azalea who helped them to get back a decent life.
Azalea never fought back, of course. How could he hurt those humans while his responsibility was to protect them? They started to abuse Azalea and those they consider to be weak and cannot benefit them. Greed for wealth and authority made them act beyond moral and humanity.
Kyo, Kija, and Raiko couldn't stay still seeing their god treated in such a cruel way. So they decided to descend to earth and help Azalea.
"Kyo ..." Azalea said in surprise. He who had just returned from the fields was surprised to see Kyo, the blackbird, standing in front of his hut.
"Good evening, sir," he said with a warm smile.
"Why did you come here? Where are Kija and Raiko? Is there something wrong happen up there?" Azalea threw a blast of questions at Kyo, who was only answered with a smile from the man.
"Kija and Raiko came here with me, but now they are hunting for dinner. We come here because we can't stand to see you being treated so evilly by humans. Have they forgotten who has helped them all this time? You always helped them doesn't mean they can make you a servant, an errand boy, or even a slave. " Kyo's eyes turned red, he was angry.
Azalea stroked his head gently, "hold your rage, Kyo. You can't lose your temper okay?" The blackbird took a deep breath, and when he opened his eyes, it returned to normal.
"I'm sorry, sir. I'm so angry every time I remember what you've been through here."
"I'm fine." Kyo could only sigh seeing the earth god smiling so beautifully.
When the Azalea opened his mouth to ask something, Kyo cut him off. "If you are worried about controlling the three elements of the earth, it's not necessary. We can control it from here. We should have joined with you since the beginning to descend to earth, so something like this won't happen to you."
