The Rain

There is no going back.

Not after what you did to her.

You were determined to make her miserable.

You saw the tears roll down her pale cheeks,

You witnessed the pain she felt.

You stand in the rain,

Unsure of what you truly did.

She is nowhere to be found,

Nowhere in sight.

The storm rages as if it will never end,

Visibility is low.

You see her,

Standing in the light,

Only for a fraction of time.

She sees that it is you,

Yet she refuses to forgive you.

She walks into the unknown distance,

And disappears into the rain,

Never to be seen again.
