"Boo!" Austin basically screamed at me as I walked by him on the couch. How the hell did he get in the house?
"Oh my freaking god. How di-" I said, but he answered before I could say the rest of the question.
"Spare key under the welcome mat." He said tonelessly as he threw a ball up in the air and caught it as it came down.
"Well that's getting moved.." I rambled.
"You said that six months ago." He mocked. Why did I put up with kid? Oh yeah, it's Austin, he's adorable.. sometimes.
"Hey, you wanna go trick-or-treating with Colt and I? Bridget thinks it's stupid so she wants to hand out the candy. So, I get to drag a seven year old around while he pesters people for candy." I explained.
"Do I have to dress up?" Austin asked.
"Yes." I said.
"Then I would love to go." He said smiling. See, adorable.
-----------------
Halloween came around fast. Colt was being a baseball player. Red Sox of course. He even got a little trick-or-treat bin that was a baseball. Going all out.
Colt said it would make me "a loser butt face" if I didn't dress up so I decided to be a cheer leader. No, not a 'sexy' cheer leader. But I guess the shirt is kind of tight and the skirt is a little short. I guess that's what I get for having Austin help me pick it out.
I have no idea what Austin is going as so I'm actually quite frightened of what he'll do. I could see him doing something that'll make me scream and possibly throw my pom-poms in the air. I bet he does like a serial killer Jason thing. I probably will refuse to walk around with him if he's dressed like that.
-------------------
I was doing my hair when Colt yelled up to me.
"Sam! Austin's here!" He said.
"Okay!" I yelled back as I quickly tied the bow around the top on my ponytail.
I ran down the stairs and found Austin and Colt watching Scooby-Doo. I was surprised to find Austin dressed as a football player.
"Well look at us. We match." I said before pecking him on the cheek.
"I knew you'd hate the Jason costume so I thought I'd go with this." He said. Austin would make one hot football player, like damn.
"Can we go now?" Colt begged.
"Yeah, grab your candy bucket an we'll leave." I said.
Colt took no time to run away and grab it then come down the stairs again. I got my pumpkin candy bucket and then we left. We walked around our neighborhood then headed out for the rest of the town.
"Trick-or-Treat!" Colt said to the old lady. She smiled and put candy in each of our buckets.
"Cutest outfits I've seen in my time. Just adorable." She said pointing at Austin and I.
"Well thanks Mrs. Walker." Austin said flashing his signature smile.
We walked away from the little house and continued to rob people of candy. When we got back, all of our buckets were full and overflowing. Colt had even taken off his hat and filled it with candy.
"Best Halloween ever! Thanks Sam!" Colt screamed before kissing me on the cheek and running over to the table and dumping his candy. I heard Austin chuckle.
"Are you gonna give me a kiss?" I teased.
Just before his kissed me he put a Hershey Kiss in my bucket then left.
"Austin!" I screamed.
"See you tomorrow!" He yelled as he ran across the street and into his house.
What a shit head.
