Finding Out The Truth

        When the bus finally came to a stop I didn't realize that Levi was right behind me and snaked his arms around my waist stopping me from getting on the bus. When the bus drove away I turned around and pushed him away from me. He stumbled away and looked at me in curiosity. I started to walk in the direction I believed my house was but was stopped by Levi again, he was smiling and laughed lightly. I frowned at him, so I pulled out my phone and texted my brothers to come and pick me up. When they didn't respond right away I pulled up my google maps and typed in my address as soon as the directions loaded I realized I was headed in the wrong direction. I turn around once again and started walking home but was stopped once again by Levi. He looked at me and sighed, "Ashleyn I sorry if I upset you, can I please drive you home I'll explain everything I promise." I didn't want to hear what he had to say but I wanted to go home, so I nodded to his and we start to walk to his car. We get to his car and unlocks the doors and I enter it. When he gets in he starts it and tells me to put my seatbelt on. Once our seatbelts are on he starts to drive to my house. I wanted to ask him what that was back at the restaurant but couldn't because he was driving. When he didn't start explaining I realized he never intended to explain things to me. I look up and realize we are in front of my house I get out of his car and start walking to the front door. as I get to the front door I heard the sound of a car door shutting and shoes scuffing on the concrete heading in my direction. I turn around and saw Levi 4 feet from me. I didn't know what to do so I opened the front door and entered before I slammed the door in his face, I locked the door and run up to my room. I didn't want to think about the events of today so I grabbed my Bluetooth headphones connecting them to my phone and started to blast my music. My alarm clock read 1:30 am, I realized I was just sitting and listening to my music for about 6 hours without moving. I decided I wasn't going to school that day and started to search for some thing to draw with when I finally found my drawing supplies. I started to draw random things like trees and flowers but then I started to draw a scene for a dream I don't remember after I was half way done I realized I was drawing a picture of Levi and I standing by a lake in a loving embrace. I threw my sketch book and pencil across the room. I stood up ran down stairs and out the back door running for the forest. As the forest surrounds me I stumble and fall landing on my hands and knees. I crawled to a near by tree to sit and try to understand what the hell is going on. As I sit there under a tree lost in my thoughts I didn't notice that someone was standing right in front of me. The person in front of me knelt down and waved their hand in front of my face scaring me out of my thoughts. I jumped up and punched the person in the face then started to run back towards the house when I heard someone say "Ashleyn what are you doing in my backyard?" I stopped in my traces and looked back at the person I punched then saw who it was. I ran back and helped Levi to his feet then I saw that his nose is bleeding I make the motion of bloody nose and tried to stop the bleeding by pinching his nose but he moved his head out of my reach. I stomped my foot and tried again but once again he moved his head away but this time he said "Ashleyn stop it stopped bleeding. come inside let me treat the cuts on your hand and knee please." I didn't know what he was talking about until i felt the sting in my right knee and my left hand. I didn't know what to do so I followed him to his house, as we enter his house through the back door I saw Mrs. Gomez and shyly waved at her. Levi takes my unharmed hand a gently pulls me upstairs to his room, he leads me to his bed and when to the bathroom to grab his first aid kit. When he came back in his room I saw the blood from his nose starting to dry so I stood up and grabbed his hand leading him to the bed, when he was sitting I sat next to him and took the first aid kit from him opening it up I was trying to find some wipes for Levi but I couldn't really see sense the lights weren't on. Levi must of see my struggle so he clapped two times the lights turned on I smiled and nodded I found the wipes. I grabbed a wipe and held it up so he could see what I was trying to do. He smiled shaking his head and said "Ashleyn I don't need that let me see it and I'll clean up ur cuts." I take a really good look at him, he was tall, cute, he had a dangerous aura around him. I don't know what it was about him but I never wanted to leave him, I wanted answers about everything so I scooted away from him and started looking for a pen and paper but wasn't finding anything i could write with. I sighed and stopped looking for them I sat there trying to think of a way to communicate with Levi but nothing is coming to mind. I saw his backpack near his bedroom door i gestured to it hoping he would get what I was trying to say. He stood and went to grab a notebook and pen then returned to the bed where I sat handing me the notebook and pen. I nodded to him as a thank you I thought of the questions I wanted to ask him when I decided what I wanted to ask I wrote down 'What did you mean by true soul mates?' I showed it to him. He seemed to think "True soul mates are two people that are paired together by fates design but as my family puts it its two people who are make for each other by the Moon Goddess." 'What or who is the Moon Goddess?' I wrote underneath my first question. "This may seem crazy but please listen to me. The moon goddess the the mother to all night dwellers." I must of punched him a little to hard because he is making no sense. I wanted to know more but didn't want to push my luck, Levi took the wipe from my hand opened it and start to clean up my hand and knee. I felt the sting of the wipe touching my cuts causing me to flinch and pull away from him. I didn't see that Levi was frowning because I was trying to hold back my tears but I was slowly failing and felt tears were running down my checks so I tried to turn around to hide my face from him. Levi must of seen my tears because he then grabbed my shoulders and pulled me towards him but I fought against him. I didn't want Levi to see me weak, I pushed him away standing up i walked to the door sitting down and hugged my knees to my chest. He followed me sitting next to me, he tried to hold my hand I moved away from him again he sighed and sat next to the door and rubbed his face. I wanted him to hold me but I was scared that he won't like me if he find out about my past, I reached for the notebook and pen then started writing about my past.

Flash back about 12 years ago

My Mom, Dad, brothers and I were at a forest rest stop enjoying the nice weather and having lunch when all of a sudden 3 wolves appear out of no where and attack my parents. Mom and Dad yell to my brothers to take me away and protect me from them. At that point of I didn't understand What mom and dad were talking about. Dylan and Raiden took me back to the house they started to pack up the house and all of our belongings after everything was packed we got on a plane going to Florida. Where we got to Florida Dylan and Raiden made sure that I wouldn't remember by having a witch create a charm that made me forget everything had happened, the witch told my brothers that the charm would work but every time i start remembering thing of the past they would have to have me wear the charm. The next morning Dylan and Raiden told me that our mom and dad died in a car crash. I didn't know what to do so I went back to sleep. I was only 3 at the time all of this happened.
After I told Levi about my past we just sat there for a while. As we sat there I was getting more and more nervous about him not liking me anymore. Levi then turned towards me sighing he reached for me hand, "This is it he's going to hate me forever. Everyone says that my parents death wasn't my fault but I feel like it was my fault if I was older I could have helped somehow." Before he could say anything I bolt out of the room and house running as fast as i could to house and room. Once I'm in my room I fall to the floor silently screaming and hitting the floor. My brothers must have heard me because they bust through my bedroom door scanning the room. When they seen nothing out of the ordinary they sit down next to me and try to calm me down. I curl up in to a ball and bury my head in my knees so I couldn't tell who was talking but I heard one of my brothers say "Ashleyn what's wrong?" Instead of answering I just sat there and cried. I didn't know what to do. The first guy that I like turns me down because I had to move then this one I shared my past with him and he doesn't like me anymore. What is wrong with me. When I don't answer my brothers they pick me up and place me in my bed. As they leave I hear they talking to each other softly. As I drift off crying to myself I realize tomorrow is my 16 birthday I start to cry even harder. With out realizing it I call out my parents names ever so softly.
