Birthday Disaster

          When I wake up I feel like I have a fever but other wise feel fine so I decide that I should go to school but I must avoid levi. As I feel a spike in the fever I dress in a pair of sweats a t-shirt and a sweat shirt. I head downstairs to the kitchen and see my brothers sitting at the table. I ignore them and grab an apple to eat on the way to school but before I could exit the kitchen I heard "Ashleyn we need to talk to you about something important." I turn around and take a seat at the table waiting for them to say what they need to say but they didn't say anything for a while so i got up and was about to leave when I heard "Ashleyn do you remember the day our parents died?" I spin around look at them as if to say what the hell are you bringing them up for right now? Radien decided to intervene before things could get out of hand, "Ashleyn the reason we are bringing this up is because we have been keeping a secret from you but we can't anymore because after today you would've found out anyway, what I'm trying to say is that Ashleyn you are a werewolf. Our whole family are werewolves." I space out for a while trying to figure out if I believed them or not but couldn't wrap my head around it. I leave to kitchen and the house heading to school when i get a text from an unknown number saying 'Ashleyn I'm sorry for everything but please know that we love you so much.' When I look up from my phone I realize that I stopped in front of Levi's house and he was walking out the front door. Without realizing it he stops talking to his mom and turns as if to look for something but instead finds me looking at him. He smiles and starts walking towards me I panic and run in the opposite direction of the school. When I finally stop running I notice that I'm at a park that has a lake and playground. I walk around for a little bit just thinking and end up at the swing set taking a seat on the swing I see couples walking, talking and just all together having a good time with each other. See all the happy couple makes me feel like I'll be alone forever and end up with a ton of cats. I didn't notice Levi standing in front of me till he put his pointer finger under my chin to make me look at him, when I didn't fight it I started to cry. I try to turn my head and wipe my tears but he beats me to it. I don't know why but when he touched my check I felt electric tingles. I gasped and pulled back from his touch. I stood up and walk to the base of the swing set and stood there trying to figure out why I feel like passing out. Before I could even think of running away the world around me started to spin. I tried to steady myself but I fell on to the ground hitting my head in the process then the world when dark.

Levi's P.O.V.
As I was talking to my mom this morning I felt this need to go to school early, so as I exited my front door I see Ashleyn standing at the end of my driveway staring at her phone. I started to walk up to her but whatever she was looking at on her phone must have been very interesting because she seems to not have noticed that I was walking towards her until I was a few feet from her. She looked scared and ran off in the other direction. I follow her and end up at a park with a lake and a playground. She walked around for a while then wound up sitting on the swings. She looks around at all the couples and started to cry, so I walked up to her and stood right in front of her. Gently I put my pointer finger under her chin and made her  look at me when she didn't fight me she started to cry. She tried to turn her head and whip her tears away but I beat her to it, to say  the least when I whipped her check I felt the strangest pull to protect her from something that was coming and soon. She gasped and pulled away from my touch, she stood and walked to the base of the swing set. She tried to grab the base but couldn't and fell to the ground hitting her head in the process and passed out. I picked her up and started to walk back to my house, as I get half way to my house i started to notice that Ashleyn was burning up and sweating like crazy. I picked up my pace and as so as I reach my house she started to scream and writhing in pain. I didn't know what to do so I yelled for my mom she came outside to see what I was yelling about but before she could ask what was wrong Ashleyn screamed so loud that the birds in the trees around us flew away. Evidently my mom knew what to because I heard "She going through her first shift.", I then realized she just turned 17 today and there for her first shift. I rush the the backyard and place her in the middle of the grass when I tried to back away to give her some room she grabbed my arm and whimpered in pain. I looked to my mom for answers but saw that she wasn't around I was about to yell for my mom again when she runs out of the house with a blanket and some kind of drink. As soon as she come next to me Ashleyn started to scream and cry then all of a sudden i heard a loud snap not know that her bones are breaking to reshape her body as her wolf form I pull her to me making her scream out in pain I almost dropped her back to the ground. Pure white fur started to come out of her skin her eyes shot open I saw that her eyes have turned in to a gold color and in less that a minutes she was in full wolf form laying on her side.(Ashleyn's wolf above) My mom gasped and then ask "Levi who is this girl and how long have you known her?", instead of answering her I raised my hand to pet Ashleyn's' fur but froze the moment her eyes open and stare at me like I was going to hurt her. Just as I was about to try and pet her a phone started to ring snapping me out of my thoughts reaching of the ringing phone I see that it's Ashleyn's' brother Dylan calling not knowing what to do I freeze once again. After a few minutes it stops ringing only for her other brother to call so instead of letting it ring I answer the call " hello..." "Ashleyn are you ok we got a call from the school they said you never showed up and that you haven't been there all day where are you?" I looked at Ashleyn and sighed "This is Levi her... Friend from school I found her at the park and then she passed out I brought her back to my house." I hear rustling on the other end of the call then i hear " How is she? Is she ok What is your address? we'll come and get her." I didn't know how to tell them that Ashleyn turned in to a wolf. " My address is 420 Mary Lane." "We will be there in 10 minutes." They end the call and I saw that Ashleyn was standing and as trying to look at her self but was having trouble so I cleared my throat and motioned to the pool at the edge of the yard. She walked over to the pool and looked at her reflection I walked to the pool and stood next to her. She looked absolutely beautiful no matter if in human form or wolf form, I was about to say something when I heard a car turning in to my driveway and stop. It must have been her brothers here to pick Ashleyn up but I didn't want them to hurt her so I run to the front and answered the door before they could ring the door bell or knock. When I opened the door i didn't expect to see the beta twins standing on my front porch. To say I was shocked to find out that Ashleyn's brothers were wolf as well, hearing someone clear their throat snapped me out of my state of shock. One of the twins raised his eyebrow in a questioning manner while asking to see Ashleyn. I couldn't really keep them from seeing her because my mom and I was living on the packs territory so I nodded and motioned to the backyard. I leave the door open and started to head back to see Ashleyn before they take her away. When I get to the pool I heard the front door close and footsteps coming this way I turn to Ashleyn and find that she was looking at me whining softly. I reach up to pet her but she moved away and whined louder, someone came up from behind me and petted Ashleyn on the head and behind her ear. Without realizing it I was growling a low throaty growl at the person who dared to touch my beloved, then My mom came up next to me and slapped me up side the head. "Be nice I know what you are going through but that is her brother you are growling at. You need to help her shift back to her human form so you and her brothers can explain what is going on as well as you need to introduce yourself to her brothers." I nodded and turned to Ashleyn and reached out my hand wanting to pet her at least just once but she once again back away sighing I turned to her brothers to asked them to explain how to change back to her human form. After a couple minutes of persuading from her brothers she finally nodded and lied back down on the ground. My mom cover her with the blanket and then Ashleyn closed her eyes within a couple of seconds later she was in human form and clung the blanket close around herself. I cleared my throat causing her eyes to snap up and look at me, "I'm sorry if I scared you Ashleyn but there are a few things we need to talk about with you." She whimpered and tried to back up but the blanket started to slip away from her body I turned around so fast I'm surprised I didn't give myself whiplash. I heard fabric rustling then stop but not wanting to chance it so I waited until I heard one of her brothers clear their throat as a sign I could turn back around. When I was facing everyone in the yard I cleared my throat "Why don't we move this inside?" No one answered right away but eventually everyone nodded and started toward the house when we enter my mom when into the kitchen. I'm guessing that she is making everyone something to drink and something to eat. Ashleyn, her brothers, and I moved to the living room and sat on the couches facing each other. Ashleyn and her brothers sat on one couch and I sat on the other one, not knowing where I should start for the explanation to her and her brothers. So my mom came in the room with a tray full of cups, a pitcher  of what looks like Iced tea, and a plate over flowing with sandwiches she smiled and placed the tray on the coffee table in between the couches then sat down next to me on the couch. "Might I say I am honored to have the beta twins in my house, and that I'm very curious about this one sitting in between the two of you." I looked at my mom like she was crazy. Having the beta twins in our house was not a good thing and if they don't approve of me for their sister they could kick us out of the packs territory and have us killed. "My apologies Ma'am but we are not here for banter we are here to explain and understand what is going on here." I couldn't tell which one spoke because I don't know which one is which. I Looked at Ashleyn hoping and wishing I could just hold her and calm her down but with everything that has happened I didn't know if it was a good idea or not. Not know if her brothers were going to explain things or not so sighing I closed my eyes and pinched my bridge of my nose. " Ashleyn I know you are confused and scared but please know that I would never hurt you. As you saw earlier you are a wolf, your wolf is apart of you." Not know what else to say I motioned toward one of the twins hoping that they would take over explaining the whole wolf thing to her. "Sis do you remember the dreams you would have when you were little?" She nodded and said something in sign language. "Yea those dreams. Well those aren't dreams those are your memories." To say the lest I was shocked that they repressed her memories. I wanted to tare them apart but I couldn't because of two reasons. Reason one is that they are my beloved's brothers and reason two is that my mom and I are living on the packs land. I closed my eyes trying to calm down but couldn't calm down completely without Ashleyn at the very least next to me. As if sensing my distress Ashleyn stood up walked around the coffee table while somehow get my mom to sit on the single chair in the living room and sat next to me on the couch. I wanted to reach out and pull her to my side and hold her forever but I will not push her to anything that would make her uncomfortable. I sighed and slowly started to relax just her presence next to me is enough to calm me. Before I know it my mom was back sitting next to me and she was sitting on the chair. I tried jumping back into the conversation at hand but was so confused with what they were saying that I stood up and when back outside and just leaned against the house. Might as well have a smoke while I'm out here, maybe I'll think of how to explain my presence in her live and why she feels the way she feels. As I was about to light my smoke the door opened I didn't want to look up so I lite my smoke and looked towards the left of my yard. The door shut almost instantly so I thought that whoever it was must have left. As I look back towards to door I see Ashleyn standing there just looking at me. When she didn't say anything I was about to leave to go to the front where the forest is. I was next to the gate on the side of the house when i felt the lightest tug on my shirt sleeve causing me turn around and saw Ashleyn have followed me. I looked at her and seen that she had a notebook and a pen, I guess she wanted to talk with me. I didn't want to go back into the house just yet so I reached my hand towards her to take after a minute or two she took ahold of it and we walked to the pool. "Ashleyn would you like to sit next to the pool and dip our feet in?" She slowly smiled and nodded. As we turn and head to the pool she started writing on her notepad. I didn't want to upset her so I let her be. When we reached the pool I decided that I wanted to swim to blow off some stress. I started to take my shirt and shoes off but Ashleyn caught my attention stopping me in my tracks. She was trying not to look at me but she was stealing glances and blushing, I don't know why but I got the feeling that she wanted to swim as well so strip my shirt holding it out to her. Clearing my throat "I have a feeling you would like to swim as well, I figured that you wouldn't be comfortable being so ...*Clearing my throat once again*exposed you can wear my shirt if you want." not wanting to embarrass her further I turn around allowing her some privacy.
