        My name is Ashleyn Mendez. I'm 15 turning 16 next week on Friday. I have black and red sense cut hair, a nose ring, snake bites, a tongue ring and a belly button ring. I live in Florida. I'm mute and my parents died 10 years ago. I haven't talked for 12 years. People don't know this about me but I'm in to goth, or emo. I cant say what I am because I don't know myself. I have 3 friends their names are Skye who is 17, Destiny who is 19, and Taz Hove who is 18. My friends are all related. I live with my 2 older brothers their names are Dylan who is 20 and Radien who is 22. I'm a freshmen in high school. My brothers and friends learned sign language to understand what I'm saying. As I walk home from school I texted my brothers to tell them I'm going to be late for dinner. Instantly I have both of my brothers asking why. I tell them I'm heading to the dinner down the street from the school with Skye, Destiny, and Taz to do a school project. I get an ok from 1 and a be home by 11 from the other. I sent them I love ya and ok thanks.

I was walking through the front door when I hear mumbling in the kitchen. I head to the kitchen for some food because I didn't have any money on me when I went to the dinner. I see my brothers taking to people on their phones. They notice I'm in the room and tell the people that they will call them back. I sign Who was that and do we have any Nutella? "That was a old friend of ours and they are offering us jobs." Dylan said. Ok and why I thought you guys had jobs here? I signed. "We do but we are looking doe better ones." Raiden said. Ok and you didn't answer my question. I signed. 'What question?" They asked at the same time. If we have Nutella duh. I signed. "Oh right Radien ate the rest of it last night." Dylan said. I glared at Radien and mentally cursed him to hell. I silently sighed and looked through the cabinets and found a bowl, a spoon in the drawer, some lucky charms, and some milk in the fridge. I looked up and saw my brothers still standing there. I could see something was off so I asked What's wrong bros? They both signed and Dylan said "We have to move to Arizona to get the jobs. So sis I need you to go pack up your stuff ok?", so I put down my goods. Ok but can I go to school till we leave please? They nodded and walked to their rooms. I wasn't feeling like eating so I put everything back and when to my room. I got ready for bed and the second my head hit the pillow I was out.

---Skip the 2 weeks left of school---
I was standing outside of my soon to be old house and was waiting for my "send off crew" to arrive and send me off but we have to be at the airport in half an hour to make sure we catch the plane. I'm standing here with 20 minutes left before we leave for the airport. I was about to give up and head to the car but out of the corner of my eye I see my 3 friends running my way. I got to admit to myself that Taz is really cute in a friend way but really hot in a non-friend way too. I talked to my friends for 10 minutes and gave each Skye and Destiny a great big hug but when I got to Taz I gave him a long hug and signed I'll miss you guys so much and I wish I could stay here, but I need a fresh start I guess. I asked if I could talk to Taz alone for a minute. As Skye and Destiny left I was looking at the ground when Taz put his hand on my check and waited till I looked at him. I looked up at him and saw that he had a sad look on his face. I wanted so bad to make him happy but I didn't know how. When I looked away I felt his hand on my back and on my check. Taz what are you doing? I asked. "I want you to stay here with me er I mean I want you to stay here where you belong. Please don't leave us we won't be able to see you anymore." He said. I started to say that I have to go but he grabbed my hands and pulled me towards him and he started to lean forward I notice the world stopping around us. All that mattered was him and me right now because I liked him so much but I don't know how to tell him. As I was thinking I thought of a way to tell Taz that I liked him for awhile now. I was brought out of my thoughts by hearing the one thing I have wanted to hear for awhile now.
