perfection is a good thing, really. it's so much pleasing to the eye if everything goes as what's planned. but imperfection is another thing.

i just love your slightly wide forehead, it just complements your whole face and makes you ten times more attractive whenever your fingers brush up your hair.

people usually laugh about big eyes but i appreciate yours. all they see is the usual but i see something more. a hidden twinkle that you can't miss is always there whenever you stare directly in my eyes for more than a moment.

your teeth isn't perfectly even
and i always see that familiar space between your two teeth above,
i don't mind
because it suits you better.

your left hand,
those three fingers,
thin and slightly bent,
have those marks
that indicate you write
hard and frequently.

your face have pimples
it's scattered and it's normal
everyone goes through it.
pimples and scars
doesn't make you less of a person.
and if what i said isn't suffice,
know that whenever i talk to you,
you glow and those marks i notice no more.

despite having imperfections,
the positive always outweighs the negative.
despite having a wide forehead, it still suits your face and makes you even more lovely.
having bambi eyes made me see your soul better and see my reflection clearer.
despite having that little space between and slightly crooked teeth, your smile is just as contagious as your laughter.
despite those marks on your fingers,
your hands are gentle and warm.
despite having pimples, you glow whenever we talk about your dreams.

i don't mind telling you over and over
just so you would know
i love you
for your being and your soul,
above all those imperfections.

author's note;

i think i'll never get tired of saying how ethereal he glows, how i love his eyes, and how his smile is as contagious as his laughter. i've mentioned it quite a few times already and it's really one of the hundreds of things i genuinely like about him.
