Meanu: "Jugnu, go check if Abir is ready to go to the office, then we will go together." Jugnu looks nervous and doesnt move. " Jugnu, what did I tell you?What's the problem,go now."
Jugnu: Woh....actually....
Meanu: will you just say what u want already.
J: Abir bhaiya is not at home. He left some time back.
M: He must of went to the office but so early.
Just then Kunal walks in.
M: Kunal, why did Abir go to the office so early? Did urll have a meeting?
Kunal: Nahi Maa, bhai is not at the office, I was on the phone with Uma and she said hes not there. I don't know where he went to so early.
Meanu thinking to herself that since Abir came back from the offsite meeting he hasn't been the same, and now hes gone somewhere so early. What could be goin on?
(Meanwhile at the lakeside)
Mishti and Abir sat side by side hands entwined, not saying anything just enjoying their moment together. They knew they had lots to think about, but right now all they wanted to do was sit in peace with each other and be lost in each other. Just then Abirs phone rang. They saw that it was Meenakshi. Mishti immediately tensed up and Abir could feel it. Somehow his mother could change the atmosphere into a tension filled one with just the mention of her name. Abir cut the call and didnt say anything, he just kept holding onto Mishti.
Mishti: Abir you should take the call, what if your mother gets suspicious and comes here looking for you. Everything will be ruined, she will take you away from me again.
Abir: I will never let that happen again. I fell weak once and succumbed to her threats but not anymore, now she can do what she wants but I will not allow her to come between us again. I promise. And as long as u are with me not Maa or anyone else can do anything to separate us.
M: Lol now you have spoken like my Ajeeb Rajvansh.
Abir's phone rings again, and Abir gets annoyed, 'this phone always disturbs our romantic moments'. He sees its Kunal so he answers.
K: Bhai where are you? We have an important meeting in half an hour.
A: Sorry nanko, I completely forgot about that, can you handle the meeting by yourself?
K: I would bhai, but Maa wanted me to meet some other clients so I wont be able to attend the meeting.
A: (annoyed now) it's fine, I will go for the meeting.see u later.
Mishti's face fell when she heard that Abir has to leave. Abir saw this and said, hey angry chorni, dont be upset, I will come back soon, I promise.
M: I know that, but I was just thinking I never got a chance to ask you how come you cut your hair and joined your family business? Okay family business I get your mother wanted you to join but your hair? You loved your long, silky hair, so why cut it?
A: that hair was a trait of the Abir you fell in love with. After I broke your heart I wasnt that person anymore. That Abir died the day he broke your heart. I know you felt the same way about your glasses, right?
M:Bata hai Abir, whenever I would look at myself in the mirror I would see you. You gave me my glasses, how could they not remind me of u, but along with those good memories all the painful ones came through as well, and I couldn't look at those glasses anymore. Nannu would see me crying all the time holding my glasses. He suggested I stop wearing it so I don't keep remembering all the painful memories. He really tried so hard to bring a smile to my face.
A: I will always be grateful to him for being with you. Even though I don't like seeing the two of you together, I know if it wasn't for him, things would have been harder for u. I want to make up for all our lost time, but right now I have to go. I'll drop u off on the way.
Outside Maheswari house, mishti was about to get off the car when Abir held her hand. A: Angry chorni, you cant just leave like that, with no I love you, no hug, nothing. We have 2 months to make up for. Every chance I get I want a hug and many i love yous.
M: (laughing) I love you Ajeeb aadmi.
A: and my hug?
M: That i will make u wait for until i see you later.
A: So mean you are, how will I get through the next few hours without u? At least give me my hug to keep me happy until then.

M: No way, the hug will be a motivation to finish ur work quickly and come meet me.
A: I don't need motivation for that,if I could help it, I would keep u with me 24/7. I love you my angry chorni.
With that Mishti went to her home and Abir left for the office.
(At Rajvansh office)
Abir walks into the boardroom expecting to see his clients waiting for him but instead he sees his mother.
A: Maa what are you doing here? Where are the clients?
Meanu: The meeting got cancelled.
A: (annoyed)why didn't anyone tell me?
Meanu: why are u getting so upset? What other important work were u doing?
A: no..nothing.i just wouldn't have rushed back from my jogging so early. Anyway I got some work to finish.
Abir is thinking on the way to his cabin that he will take Mishti on a lunch date.
Meenakshi knows something is different with Abir, he seems happier than before. Could it be that he is forgetting that girl? Or is there some other reason? Could she be back? She had to find out what was going on.....
