A new day started for Abir and Mishti, both woke up with smiles on their faces. And why wouldnt it, their first thought is of each other. For one small fraction of a second, they forgot all their problems and just basked in the love they have for one another. Abir decided to video call Mishti.
M: Good morning Ajeeb Rajvansh.
A: Good morning angry chorni,wow you are awake very early, i thought you would still be sleeping, or did thoughts of me keep you awake all night?? (with a cute smile on his face).
M: Thoughts of someone did keep me up at night (smiling), but it wasnt you.
A: (getting annoyed) Oh really, who else is keeping you up at night??
M: Your mother (laughing)
A: Arre yaar, you had to spoil my morning now. Here i was so happy and you had bring Maa into it.
M: Sorry, sorry, i didn't mean to make you upset, i was just teasing. (holds her ears), forgive me???
A: Now if you show me your cute face, how can i stay angry at you?
M: Aww so sweet, by the way, early morning video call? any reason?
A: Arreh? Do i need a reason to see my girlfriend? So unromantic you are. Btw, you are ready very early, where are you going to?
M: Nannu and I have a meeting with some clients today.
A: Oh okay....
M: Abir, what are you thinking?
A: No, nothing, just that, i thought you would come back to the NGO & work there with me again. It hasnt been the same since you left.
M: You know i would love to come back there, but with BM & BP still not happy with our relationship, it wont be right. Actually Abir, i was thinking we should talk to Meenakshi aunty, maybe we can convince her to accept our relationship.
A: Mishti, after what she did, do you think talking to her will help? You know my mother, you know what she has done to you during Kunal's wedding, talking to her wont help. My mother only understands the language of threats.
M: Meaning?
A: Meaning, you dont worry about it, I will talk to her and I will sort out this whole mess. For now dont get late for your meeting, and message me after your meeting , then we can meet. Okay?
M: Okay, ajeeb rajvansh, bye.
A: Ek minute, mera I love you kahaan hai?
M: (smiling) I love you Abir.
A: I love you too Mishti. Bye. Abir had thought about it and decided the only way to deal with his mother was to speak to her in her language. Today, he will resolve this situation and make Mishti his wife as soon as possible.
(Later)
A: Maa, i need to talk to you.
BB: Of course beta.
A: Maa, you have run out of options now, whatever you tried to do to separate Mishti from me has all failed. You have to accept her as your daughter in law and my wife.
BB: You know that will never happen, I will never make that girl the daughter in law of my house.
A: Fine Maa, i thought as much that you would say that. So let me tell you my decision, i will marry Mishti and i will move out of your house away from you and the rest of the family. BB: Abir, you are threatening me? Your mother? That too for that girl? I told you she is a home breaker and today because of her you want to leave your family. As long as Meenakshi Rajvansh is alive, no one will can break this family, i will not let it happen.
A: I am tired Maa, tired of explaining to you, that Mishti is not the cause of anything, this is my decision and mine alone. She knows nothing about it. And as for breaking this family, the sole cause of that is you and you alone. Now the decision is up to you, either you accept Mishti wholeheartedly and stop all your plotting and planning against her, or I move out from this house forever.
BB: ABIR, you cannot do that, you will leave your mother, brother, Nannu for that girl.
A: No Maa, i will leave all of you because this is what you have brought me to. You have left me with no choice. Now you have a decision to make, i will give you until tomorrow morning to decide, but let me make one thing clear, if you try anything else to hurt Mishti or create differences between us, you will lose me forever. The decision is yours.
I am so sorry for the very delayed update, this pandemic has affected all of us in so many ways, both mentally and physically. I do plan to wrap this story up soon, but with love and encouragement from all of you, i may still continue writing and possibly start another story. Do let me know your opinions and thoughts.
