Badi maa and badi papa loved Abir like their own son but how could they forgive him so easily after how he broke their daughters heart. BP couldn't forget the tears and heartbreak Mishti went through that day when Abir broke up with her. Knowing the reasoning behind Abirs decision didn't help matters either. He always knew Meenakshiji didn't like Mishti but to go to the extent of using one son against the other was too much. Even if he agreed to forgive Abir nothing would change the fact that his mother still hated Mishti.
BM and BP were in a dilemma as to what to do next. At that time Mishti entered their room.
M: BM, BP, can I come in?
BM &BP: Yes of course you can come in.
M: I know you both are very upset with me for hiding the truth from both of you. I am very sorry, I don't ever want to lie to you'll about anything. But I love Abir alot and i could never accept the breakup. I knew in my heart, he didnt really mean those things. But it doesnt excuse me from lying to you, please forgive me and please dont be angry with Abir, now you both know that his mother blackmailed him into doing that.
BP: I am upset that you hid your feelings from us, you know we are always here for you no matter what. We forgive you. But as for Abir.... (looks at BM)
BM: Mishti beta, we know now why Abir did what he did, but knowing that reason doesnt make us less concerned. How can we accept your relationship when we know to what extent Meenakshiji can go to hurt you. We are your parents and we want your happiness, but being with Abir, means dealing with his mother which will only cause you pain.
BP: Its for this reason we cant accept your and Abir's relationship. As for forgiving him, we always considered him as our son, but if he really accepted us a his parents, he would have come to us at that time and told us the truth. We forgive him, but trusting him is something i dont think we can do now.
Mishti looked at her parents and hugged them knowing that all their concerns are justified, but also knowing that she and Abir will find a way to gain their trust and make them accept their relationship.
Later that day
Abir called Mishti.
A: Mishti, how are you? and how are BM and BP? Did they forgive you? I am sure all of this must have been a big shock to them.
M: Abir, this was a shock, and they did forgive both of us...
A: Really, they forgave me!!! Wow mishti i am so happy. BM and BP have such big hearts. I am so happy...
He kept quiet when he realized that mishti didnt sound so happy when she said that.
A: Wait, angry chorni, why do you not sound happy? You are scared that BM and BP love me more now, right??
M: Actually Abir, even though BM and BP have forgiven you, they are not ready to accept our relationship and they are going to need some time to trust you again. But dont worry, we will fix things.
A: For 1 minute i got so happy that i forgot who my mother is, which parents would want their daughter to marry someone with a mother like Meenakshi Rajvansh who doesn't even care abut her own childrens happiness....They have all the reason to not accept our relationship and to even not trust me. I am not good for you, Mishti. You deserve so much better. You deserve the best mother in law who will treat you as a daughter not a daughter in law, a husband who will fulfil all his promises and who will be strong enough to fight for his relationship and most of all who will put you first. Being with me will only get you problems, hatred and taunts. You dont deserve that, you deserve only happiness.
M: I agree that i deserve happiness, but i will only get that when i am with you. You stupid Ajeeb Rajvansh, if you think for one second that being away from you will make me happy, then you are nt only ajeeb, but also very stupid. I know we have a tough road ahead, but remember if we are together, nothing is impossible. Now stop being a maha ajeeb aadmi and smile.
A: (smiles) okay angry chorni, as you say, i dont want to deal with the wrath of your blue belt...

M: Goodnight Abir.
Abir knew he had to be strong, and he had to make up for his past mistakes, but he wont let Mishti down again. She deserves the best and he intends to be just that for her. He will live up to his promises like he should have.
