"Hey maybe you can practice with us one day?"

I was walking to the gym for the first time ever. I was pretty excited because I don't know. Every time that I get to see something new I get excited. But then at that moment I totally forgot about my dad and that he was probably waiting for me at home.

"I'm sorry guys but I will be right back!"
I raced over to a quiet place so I could quickly call my dad. I dialed his phone number on my very slow phone. (A/N I could relate right now to this) No answer. Well then I'll just text him

        To: Daddy🥰
Dad I just wanted you to know that I will probably not be home until like 6:00 PM because I have volunteered to help with the boys volleyball team

Okay hopefully he won't mind. Okay now I'm going to go and help now.

I walked into the gym and once again I felt the same thing that I felt whenever I walked into it the first time. I then whiffed the scent of the court. That might be a little weird but it actually smelled pretty nice. I then opened my eyes which were closed and then I see everyone staring at me like I was this weird alien creature thing.

"Umm hi my name is Y/N and I um"
"She will be our new manager!" The captain of the team exclaimed loudly.

Everyone then looked at me again and for no reason I blushed. Like I said I don't know why. And then things got awkward fast. Every single boy in the gym was staring at me. And I didn't like it. I wanted to yell "why are you staring at me?" But of course I could never do something like that. Heh that reminded me of someone. Speaking of him, where is he?

I looked around for Kenma but like I thought, he was no where to be found. That's weird, Tetsuro said that he was usually really early for practice, even though he didn't really love volleyball with his whole heart like some of these boys do. Like it was on cue, Kenma suddenly burst out from the door. "I'm so sorry that I'm late!"
That's not like him
He looked flustered and his hair was all in his face like he was running from a really long distance. Maybe he ran from his house to here? Does he live far away? I should go and see if he's okay.

While I was waking up to him he looked at me with the cutest look that I have seen in my life. "Can I please have a water Y/N-Chan?" He said. All I could do was blush about the sudden nickname.
"Are okay?" He asked me
"Yeah I'm okay, never been better!" I say in an uneasy voice.

"Okay"

I went to go and quickly grab him a water and grabbed enough water for the entire team. Whenever I came back I saw what I guess the coach of the team. "Oh coach Nekomata! We found a new manager!" Exclaimed Tetsuro. I walked over to the coach and introduced myself.
"I am so grateful that you have given up your time to help with these boys."
"Oh no it's not a problem!"
"If you would I would appreciate it if you helped set up the net before we start practice."
"Yes sir"

So I set up the net. It was pretty confusing but with a little bit of explaining I got it down.

I stayed until the boys finished practice and I was pretty amazed of how they are really good. Especially how good Kenma is with accuracy.

Coach Nekomata then called everyone to the bench to talk, even me. So I went.

"Okay guys, I have got us set up for a practice game with Karasuno High."
