"Now's your chance, don't blow it, take it."

-Kenma POV-

Was Kuroo really being serious, or was he playing with me?

I just looked at him dumbfounded until Y/N came back from getting her things. I then looked at her dumbfounded.

"Ummm Kenma, are you okay?"

I wanted to tell her that I was okay but I just couldn't. I wanted to stop staring at her like a freak but I just couldn't.

"Kenma."

I finally managed to look up at her and she was looking at me with her big e/c eyes.

"Kenma, we have to go get ready for the game now." Kuroo said, snapping me out of my deep thoughts.

"Oh, okay bye y/n."

"Bye." She responded back to me. I swear I heard a little bit of sadness in her tone.

I was pretty thankful for Kuroo to save me from that situation. If he didn't, then it would get really awkward.

-y/n POV-

That was....extremely awkward. I looked at Kenma as he walked lazily with Kuroo to the bench where all of his other teammates were with the coach. It looked like the coach was talking. He then looked at me and gestured for me to come over to where they were.

I started to walk over there whenever everyone started to stare at me. It kinda freaked me out.

"I don't know if you have been informed about this yet but this is our new manager, y/n l/n. She will only stay for a portion of the game because she has a game on her team too."

"Can we go see her game?" Kuroo exclaimed happily.

"Will you be okay with that miss l/n?"

"I wouldn't mind it." I responded.

"Okay!" Kuroo said. I noticed that Kuroo seemed way more happier that he usually is. His personality is usually weird and creepy but now he was just happy, I wonder why?

Kuroo then bent down so he could whisper something in Kenma's ear. Me being well, myself, I got really curious.

-Kenma POV-

Kuroo bent down to my ear level suddenly while the coach was talking about who y/n was to my other teammates. I tilted my head slightly to tell him that I was listening to whatever he wanted to say.

"Remembered whenever I told you to take that chance to get close to y/n? Well, now's that chance." He said.

I flushed red, I took a quick look at y/n to see her looking at us, shocked and flushed too.

Oh crap, did she hear that? If she did I'm going to kill Kuroo!

"Um, what?" Y/n said.

"Kenma will explain!"

And with that, Kuroo left me an Y/n alone together. Well, not alone but it felt like it.

"What was that about?" Y/n asked me. I really didn't know what to say. Y/n was so calm and peaceful but me on the other hand, I was freaking out.

"I-I don't know."

"Are you okay?"

"Why would you care?" I snapped, not even thinking about what I was going to say.

I regretted it as soon as those words left my mouth.

"Because I'm your friend?" When she said that it sounded like a question. Like she was asking if it was okay with me.

It was silent for a while before Y/n said something which was:

"I think that I will just go now, before things get weird with me around."

"Wait! I'm sorry."

"Really?!" When she said this she looked happy and sort of relieved. I actually felt really bad.

"Y-yeah!" I replied stuttering.

"So um, what do you want to talk about?" She asked me.

"Um, I don't know, what is your favorite food?"

"Um, I like noodles."

"That's boring!"

"Your boring!"

Without thinking, I let out a laugh. Y/n looked up at me and looked surprised. I realized what I did and quickly covered my mouth.

"Wait, do that again." She said.

"Do w-what?"

"Laugh, smile, anything, I like seeing you happy."

I flushed whenever she said these words. She was also blushing too, which she quickly shook her head and changed the subject.

"Well, um, I think that you should go and get ready for the game."

"O-okay yeah I think I will d-do that."

"Okay, bye Kenma."

"Wait."

She turned around facing me with her usual smile.

"Yeah, Kenma?"

I was originally gonna tell her how I feel but I chickened out and just made up an accuse quickly.

"Um, I-is it okay if , i-if if, ummm if we got to your game!?"

"Sure!"

"O-okay thank you Y/n-Chan."

"No problem!"

I then ran off really quickly to where my team was waiting for me. The Karasuno team was already there and practicing for the game.

"Did you ask her?"

"No...I-"

"What the heck is wrong with you dude?! You know what?, I'm going to tell her for you after this game!"

"Kuroo, please don't."

"Oh, I will!"

I was about to say something else to him before the whistle blew signaling that the game was about to begin.

Since I did not write a chapter yesterday I made a chapter today! If you are wondering whenever Y/n's best friend is coming in the story, it will be next chapter or the chapter after that, I still haven't planned the story that far. Anyways, I want to thank you all for reading my story and I'm sorry of it is taking up your time because it is not so good, but I try my best to write what I think others will enjoy and I will enjoy writing, not feel like I am being forced to write a chapter.
