Chapter Seventeen: Witnessed Closures and Revelations in Busan

In the afternoon, Nari and Bom stayed with Elle while she was making sure her home was secured for days she would be away. Elle grabbed something in the fridge and she handed two small boxes of chocolates to Nari and Bom. " Take it. Thank you for keeping me company. I never meant to bother you." Elle bowed and was apologetic. " Elle, you are like our sister so no need to make a payment of how we have chosen to company you for a while." Nari said while smiling. " And beside, we also do not want to hear Wook's loud mouth for a while haha.But I love chocolates so I will accept those." Bom's funny remark which made Elle laughed again. " Busan is beautiful. Make sometime to enjoy the place. Even though we are going there for Haru's matter, we should also grab the chance to utilize our time there. It will be a long trip." Bom suggested. " That's right Elle, Bom's family is living there as well so Bom will be our tour guide. Let's eat fresh seafoods." Nari said happily. " And, I let you taste cold noodle soup. So shake off all the burden of your two crazy admirers and one stupid Wook so that you will not be so stressed." Bom said and Elle hugged them. " Thank you Nari and Bom for being so responsible and matured in things." Elle replied. " Guys, I already received Mr. Jung's email for our tickets bookings and hotel bookings in Busan, plus all the accommodations from food ventures and hotels. All were settled. The van is also at the parking bay to transport us to the train station.  Be ready okay. Elle are feeling well now?" Whan asked the young mistress in a concern tone after he explained the trip details. Elle exhibited a thumbs up and an excited smile so Whan nodded in response.

" Elle we will carry your luggage now." Bom volunteered and Elle followed them after she turned off the air condition unit. When she locked her unit's door, Jee was already outside the door of the Nox Band's unit. Their glances met but Jee was still cold and quiet. He zipped his black jacket and he covered his head with his oversized hood. Then Haru suddenly went out from their unit carrying a backpack, " Elle!" Haru interrupted Elle's fixated stares to a distant Jee. " I asked Whan. He allowed me for you to take the seat beside me. No complaining." Haru grabbed Elle's backpack for him to carry it and gestured her to follow. Elle passed Jee's location and stormed near to Haru. Jee was there at back looking the girl he admired. He wanted to complain and dispute that he must be one who would be near to Elle but he dismissed the urge of insisting. He was still jealous of the Carl he heard ; who was involved with Elle's life and the fact that Elle seemed to be hiding something about her real self.

Their road trip only lasted for about 30 minutes and they arrived the unloading portion of the station. The whole 30 minutes was a deafening loop of quiet and awkward gap between Elle's and Jee's glimpses. Elle really wanted to talk to him for Elle was so concerned about the change of Jee's treatment towards her. She was not so to it. She seemed to miss Jee's bubbly manner when they see each other. It was also difficult for Jee because he knew that among all members he was the closest person to Elle. And seeing Elle near Haru, Jee's heart was more bothered as ever. He never felt that selfishness in his entire life. Most the time, Jee was the most giving and unconditional among Nox Band Members.

This manner was sometimes being taken for granted by others because there were times that even Jee's own happiness was at stake, he would still give chances and things to deal with other's welfare. However, now, the scene happened this morning was a turning point of how could Jee transform into someone as person who can actually speak up for himself and tell what he really wanted to say. He gripped his blonde hair and removed his glasses to pinch the bridge of his nose because of the stress he was feeling. " Why Elle is making me become so different?" Jee  whispered to himself. Nari suddenly patted his shoulder to alarm his friend that they need to get off the van. " Jee let's go!" The last person who get off the car was Elle and unconsciously Jee's heart instructed his body involuntarily to make a concerned gesture for Elle and his mind was taken over by his longing-ness to be with Elle. Jee offered his hand to help Elle to hop out the van however Haru's helping hand was also offered at the same time. This left Elle to choose between them and an awkward pose begun. Haru and Jee looked at each other with tension. Elle was about to say, " I can manage to..." but ...
