The moon phases and what they exactly mean are rather easy to explain; before we begin, a little overview of the coming full moons in 2020:

January 10th: Wolf Moon

February 9th: Snow Moon

March 9th: Worm Moon

April 7th: Pink Moon

May 7th: Flower Moon

June 5th: Strawberry Moon

July 5th: Buck Moon

August 3rd: Sturgeon Moon

September 2nd: Harvest Moon

October 1st: Hunters Moon

October 31st: Samhains Blue Moon

November 30th: Beaver Moon

December 29th: Cold Moon

The Moon, as well as the sun, holds magick deep within and is often important for rituals and spells. Each phase has a different meaning, which can be used in order to help accomplish goals. However, keep in mind, that these are just correspondences. If you really need a particular spell, don't hold back!

New Moon:
Rebirth
New Beginnings
A good time for setting new intentions, start planning and gathering your thoughts. You often feel boosts of energy and a fresh mindset.

Waxing Moon:
Increase
Gain
Learning
Start new projects in order to help with goals such as money or love, or further define them. You should keep pushing forward.

Full Moon:
Growth
Success
Healing
Protection
Leave harmful and toxic sources behind and harvest your intentions and wishes. This time if often used by witches to do all kinds of spell work, so enjoy the moment.

Waning Moon:
Decreasing
Banishing
Cleansing
Break bad habits and turn inwards to think about your goals. Don't forget to be thankful and grateful. Last but not least, rest. It takes time to grow.
