"She's asleep..." Raiden stared. Tears welled up in his eyes, but he wiped them away.

Just then, the door creaks and Raiden turns his head to see a gorgeous girl that resembles Mayaina.

"Good evening, Tillias. I am Roshenne Sta. Mina, Maya's older sister," Raiden was filled with shock of the reveal. It was no wonder that she almost looks like twinny with her, although she had yellow eyes.

"Maya never told us that she had a sister. Or actually, we just met her for like a few minutes then we separate because of the earthquake," Raiden scratches his head while smiling, this young lady's smile fell. His grin turned upside down when she took a chair and told a story, of course he took a chair too.

"Maya doesn't know. I'm her biological sibling, if you ask her if she has a sibling, she would say yes. But if she asked for a specific gender, she would obviously say a male," she then stared at his eyes and her eyes sparks when she had the greatest idea. "I know! How silly I am. You! You can do it!" The young boy looked confused. He only thought she's a stoic person who care nothing more than Mayaina and her family. "You, Raiden Tillias, I can see it. Intelligence, certainty, simplicity, pieties, wisdom, and the most important value, trustworthiness. You can keep it, though we don't have any blood relations nor half of it. Can you do the favor I'll be telling you?" Roshenne asked.

"What exact favor do you mean?" Raiden asked suspicious. Roshenne grinned slightly when she was right about her evaluation.

"The 8 Year Promise. It's a promise that the Sta. Mina clan has been passing for decades, centuries, or even a millennium. The eldest child must share a promise with a specific person or group. The promises main goal is to keep it safe and standing for 8 years. Once it is completed, the so-called trustworthy person will-" before she could even tell him the reward, the nurse came in.

"Ms. Roshenne, visiting hours are over," the nurse said with no emotion present at all.

"How bothering. It has only been like 10 minutes for I have been having a conversation with this boy, hours you say? Idiot. Do you know the difference between the two adverbs? Or do you even know what an adverb even is?" Roshenne replied with a glare.

"I know what it is. Go, just go!" The nurse shoved her from the room as she complains, Raiden was in disbelief about not getting even the slightest clue about what it was.

"An arranged marriage? Well, I don't really have plans for matrimony. I'm already working as the chairman here in the PII, I can't just get married at 16 or whatever age I am after 8 years," Raiden explains to Roshenne who immediately feels upset, "But I'll try. Besides, I'm still a kid, there might be a chance that I'll forget that promise."

"Thank you, Raiden! I knew I could count on you!" Roshenne cheers and then hangs up.

"Hayst, people from the Australian Science High School are really different."
